Hello soccer loving fans, it's another weekend and a wonderful football weekend all over the globe it is. But I will focus my post today on the English Premier League (EPL).

After relishing the exciting performances of the various English Premier League teams over the week, I can boldly say that this weekend fixtures will live up to the billing. The results of the games played over the week were shocking to say the least.

Below are the results:

Wolves 1 vs Burnley 0
Luton town 3 vs Arsenal 4
Brighton 2 vs Brentford 1
Crystal palace 0 vs Bournemouth 2
Fulham 5 vs Nottingham forest 0
Sheffield Utd 0 vs Liverpool FC 2
Aston villa 1 vs Man city 0
Manchester united 2 vs Chelsea 1
Everton 3 vs Newcastle 0
Tottenham Hotspur 1 vs West Ham Utd 2

And here is the table as it currently stands:

This weekend fixtures are as follows:

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool FC
Brighton vs Burnley
Manchester united vs Bournemouth
Sheffield Utd vs Brentford
Wolves vs Nottingham forest
Aston vs Arsenal
Everton vs Chelsea
Fulham vs West Ham
Luton town vs Manchester City
Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle united

My pick of interesting games to watch out for this weekend are the games between;

Aston villa vs Arsenal
Former Arsenal coach, Unai Emery vs Current Arsenal coach, Mikel Arteta. Both teams in form and on the ascendency. They both won over the week and have great momentum, a battle of 3rd on the table against 1st on the table.

Everton vs Chelsea

Despite 10 points deduction for breach of rules Everton are galvanized and winning games against all odds. Fighting against the storm of relegation battle and coming up stronger. Against a Chelsea which lost to Manchester United, a fellow struggler over the week, they will definitely want to win this game for morale purposes if nothing else.

Luton town vs Manchester City

A newly promoted side with so much potential, I must say. And they did gave Arsenal a run for their money in an enthralling 7 goals match over the week but eventually lost by a last minute goal from Declan Rice. They are up against a struggling Manchester City side that has lost games consecutively and are now 4th on the table. This game is going to be hard to predict but I still see Man city winning the game based on experience over the previous season as league champions.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle united

Both teams lost over the week and will be looking forward to picking the 3 maximum points as they can't afford to fall behind on the log table.

So I hope you will enjoy the weekend games as I surely will. Have fun and leave me your predictions for the matches of your interest in the comments below.
