Right now Euroleague is on a break and my favorite team will only play next game on 27. At the moment we are in 13 spot and don't qualify for even a playin let alone playoffs. We have 12 wins and likely have to win 6 more times in remaining 8 games. So our chances of advancing are slim but a low possibility means that is not zero. Many fans already wants to fire a coach of our team. But the way I see it coach is the last person to blame for our current situation. No matter what strategies the players still have to score to win. If they don't the coach can be any genius you still gonna lose games. But I still have hope that today we will win a local cup and after that we get the taste of victory and play much better in Euroleague as well. I still hope that my favorite team will win those 6 games and advance. With the level they been playing lately that is an impossible tall task. But I still believe that they can play much better. Just hitting open shots would already make a huge difference. But even if we will fail this season In would still keep the coach and fire many players instead. I feel that several of our players are on the team for past accomplishments and green blood(playing here for a long time) and no longer deserve the spot on any Euroleague team. The same can be said about a few foreign players. They are just not good enough to play for my favorite team. The problem is that few legionnaires who deserve to be here will cost so much after season that we will likely not be able to afford them anymore. So we will likely have to gamble on untested players again. I hate that my team can't offer as much money to players as bigger teams. But I still hope that we will succeed keeping our leader Sylvain Francisco for the next season. We need to keep a few good players, say goodbye to those who are playing below required level and hire players who can at least score while wide open... But like I said I still refuse to bury this season and hope that the team will at least show good fight and hunger for victory in remaining 8 games.
