Liverpool fans are almost forgetting what it feels like to watch Liverpool play well in a competitive game. We've been watching a disastrous performance from the lads and it gets worse with each game.

Our position on the Premier League Table is already looking shaky as it is. We sure can't afford to lose this game. Not anymore.

First Half

The first half of this game was all about Liverpool doing the things you would expect them to do in any football game. They were doing well defensively and also creating an insane amount of attacking opportunities.

The only problem they are facing is on the goalscoring side of the game. For all the chances we created, Liverpool didn't score any goal in this half of the game.

We even ended the first half with 9 corners against Brentford who couldn't get a single corner. Liverpool obviously couldn't convert any of the corners to goal. They even got themselves in tough counter-attacking positions from some of the corners.

Brentford also had their moment of brilliance. Mbuemo caused some problems for Liverpool and created some chances, but they couldn't score from that.

The first half ended with a goalless draw for both sides. This means that we will be walking into a very intense second half of the game.

Second Half

Liverpool started the second half with the same level of intensity. We created a bunch of chances, had more corners, and still couldn't convert any of those to goal. It turned out that we were also having the same sort of performance like the one we had in the first half of the game.

Liverpool, for the record, also did a lot of work in the defensive side of the game. Wissa and Breumo didn't allow Liverpool to breath or snooze. They pushed forward with every opportunity they got and Liverpool's backline stepped up in those situations.

Slot did some really good substitutions in his attempt to get something out of this game. Nunez, Chiesa, Jones, and Elliot had their opportunity to step into the game.

It was until the 90+1 minute that Liverpool scored the first goal of the game. The goal was scored by Nunez and his celebration speaks volume. He even picked up a yellow card due to the celebration.

Liverpool created another chance in the 90+3 minute of the game and the ball fell on Nunez who calmly scored that to make it 0 - 2 in favor of Liverpool.

The game ended on a very good note for Liverpool. Winning with an extra time goal is always fun. It's even better since Arsenal drew their game against Aston Villa.

Now, we will have our eyes on the upcoming games.

It was a complicated match for Liverpool.

It was truly complicated. It's good they managed to nick a win in it.

I hope the boys put their head down and ensure the title comes home this season.

For real, Bro.

The last couple of games has been very poor for us.

We give decent performance yet our results are usually uninspiring.

It's good we are finally getting the results.

Let's keep winning.

Let's keep winning .
