For a long period of time now, football and sports fans all over the world have been forced to split into two fractions or what I like to call two different football school of thought.
While, some football fans believe that when it comes to football and sports in general, talent alone plays an important role in determining how good or successful an individual would be as far as the game is concerned.
However, the second fraction are of the opinion that once the game of football is concerned that "talent is not all you need". As they have stated that talent without hard work is dead.
Hard work beats Talent, when Talent doesn't work hard.
Therefore they believe that it takes just more than talent to succeed in football as they have named other factors that helps a player become successful.
Both fractions interestingly have gone ahead to name two of the greatest players of our time Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to buttress there point. Some believe that the Argentine superstar is a pure example of talent as they believe the deposition of talent in Lionel Messi has made him invincible.
As he moves and plays football with so much ease, that they've named him a god of football.
The second fraction, however have presented the Portuguese and Manchester united man as an example of a player that works so hard.
Ronaldo hits the gym and works so hard on and off the pitch making sure that his body and mind are in good shape everyday for a game.
Some have gone ahead to say that Ronaldo is a machine, a typical example of hard work.
Some football fans have also agreed that for one to make it to the apex and have a good footballing career he or she should be able to have a blend of talent and hard work.
However, whatever school of thought you decide to believe in, i think we must all agree that there are some tips that can help upcoming footballers to have a better football career.
Today, i will mention four of this tips in no particular other.
