A huge farce in the Olympic football tournament!

Morocco - Argentina

Even though officially the Olympic games start on Friday, the football and rugby tournament have already started.

And today the unthinkable happened. I find it really hard to explain but it is the truth.

The score was 2-1 in favour of Morocco when Argentina scored the equaliser. At that moment Morrocan fans released fireworks in the stands anx the game was paused. But everybody thought the game was finished with a 2-2 score.

But two hours later, the Video Assistant Referee decided that the equaliser was invalid for offside and the game ended in a 2-1 win for Morocco.

A true disgrace for football and the Olympic games that such a farce happened…

You don’t just erase a goal two hours after it is scored, that’s just ridiculous…

I really hope the game gets a replay!
