Used to be a lion

Belgium’s national football team used to be a lion but is now a tame house cat. That is what the international and national press are saying about Belgium’s national football team after the disastrous defeat against Israel.

And they are correct, the football is appalling to watch, no grinta, no winners mentality, no passing game, no attack, no nothing.

And okay, Kompany, Hazard, Dembele, Fellaini, Mertens are all gone, but we still have talent. Enough of it, just no spirit. And it all seems to be leading to the coach. Domenico Tedesco managed to scare away our best goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois and just can’t get them to play properly.

It seems like his days at the helm are counted, and I must admit I sincerely hope so too…
