The Nuke

What’s in a name or a nickname, Luke Littler is called The Nuke. Not just because it sounds funny, but because he just blasts everyone away!

And that’s what he did tonight with 6-time former World Champion, Michael Van Gerwen. The match was never a match, Littler led easily with 4-0 in sets after half an hour. Van Gerwen was decimated to a witness.

Youngest ever

Littler clinched it with a 7-3 score in sets, at the age of 17 years. His second final, and eventually his first world title. For a boy that claims to almost never train. Maximum 45 minutes per day. A true prodigy, and we surely haven’t seen the last of him!
