Se trata de un rin número 15 de un autómovil marca Ford, el cual se encuentra distorsionado (doblado) tanto en la pestaña como en la falda.
It is a number 15 rim of a Ford car, which is distorted (bent) both in the flange and in the skirt.
Cuando se nos presentan estos tipos de casos, debemos utilizar un gato hidráulico tipo botella, ya que dicho gato hidráulico nos permite elevar cargas muy pesadas con un mínimo esfuerzo de parte del operador a través de la ejecución de su palanca y de esa manera podemos lograr que la pestaña del rin tome la forma correcta o adecuada.
When these types of cases arise, we must use a bottle-type hydraulic jack, since this hydraulic jack allows us to lift very heavy loads with a minimum effort on the part of the operator through the execution of its lever and in this way we can achieve that the rim flange takes the correct or adequate shape.
Colocamos el gato hidráulico tipo botella / We place the bottle-type hydraulic jack
Procedemos a colocar el gato hidráulico tipo botella, de tal manera que podamos llevar la pestañña del rin a su posicion correcta.
We proceed to place the bottle-type hydraulic jack, so that we can bring the rim flange to its correct position.
Calentamos el rin con el solplete / We heat the rim with the solplete
Después de haber colocado adecuadamente el gato de botella con su media luna, de tal manera que quede ajustado, procedemos a calentar el rin, para así evitar que se pueda partir por la presión recibida debido a la fuerza producto de la acción del gato, ya que debemos darle a la palanca de dicho gato poco a poco, para llevar al rin a la forma correcta.
After having properly placed the bottle jack with its half-moon, so that it is tight, we proceed to heat the rim, to prevent it from splitting under the pressure received due to the force resulting from the action of the jack, since we must give the lever of the jack little by little, to bring the rim to the correct shape.
Enfriamos el rin / We cool the rim
Después que ya lo hemos llevado a posición correcta, entonces lo enfriamos para que no se regrese la media luna y observamos que ya haya llegado al tope del rin y procedemos meter el rin a la balanceadora para verificar los detalles y luego pulimos el rin para finalizar así la reparación del rin.
After we have brought it to the correct position, then we cool it down so that the half moon does not return and we observe that it has already reached the top of the rim and we proceed to put the rim in the balancing machine to verify the details and then we polish the rim to finish the repair of the rim.
