“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.”
― Albert Einstein
This weekend has been full of surprises, positive energies all around me, changing weather, taking time to thing and how to react and planning ahead for the weekend. It has been an easy going week with nice sunny, warm weather, cleaning, registering vehicles and having fun while doing everything.
Two weeks ago I had a working weekend full of plans ahead, with stunning weather and a nice roadtrip first to help pick up a car for work and afterwards continuing journey on highway for about 30 more minutes to arive to a tiny village in Slovenia called Moravce. It is located very close to our capital city Ljubljana, hidden and surounded with woods, big lake nere by, grass fields and that Sunday was full of amazing sounds of reving racing engines, without any restrictions.
Parked my car in the middle of a grass fields that was reserved for parking cars and took a good 5 minute walk to enter my first ever Autocross I went to watch for the first time in my life. Never watched it even over streams or TV, but it was calling me and was very suprised that our tiny country is also a host of such an amazing event. Found out quickly that it is bigger than I expected, faster and a real racetrack in betwen a grass field and through the forest.
First I came there were two tests they were making, after every session they remade the surface with the help of tracktors, plows, spraying water and buldozers to make the track as stiff as possible. Started with a quick walk around the garage and was really amazed how big and well organized everything is. There were 5 or 6 classes ranging from mostly stock to unlimited where they used also two motor engines in one vehicle or a 3.0 V6 engine in a vehicle with a weight of around 400kilograms, make the math yourself, but the sound of that glorious 3.0 out from an Alfa Romue was a singing beauty for all of our ears that are petrolhead driven. :)
When I will find more time to make a video and eddit of my petrolhead adventures I will post them, havign it planned. Now I will let you see my experience that blew me away, before going on a birthday party, it was short, but sweet, full of petrol fumes and mud flying in the air.
It was a fun day full of adrenaline that ended up with a nice birthday party. I'm really grateful to be able to go do everything, that I'm healthy, able to walk, drive, live in present moment and feel super lucky to be able to share and store such a great memories.
