As we all know, Mother's Day was celebrated in some countries last Sunday.
Motivated by that date I received as a gift from my daughter and my husband, decorated rocks š„°. I knew my husband would give me one, but my daughter's was a surprise.
She got up very early on Sunday, before I woke up. She chose a rock from the one we brought from the Guane river and captured her design on it. Unfortunately she didn't take pictures of the process, so I only have the result to show you.
When she handed me her gift, with a little disenchanted face, she told me: mamiii how hard it is to paint with a brush on a rock!!!! š² I almost couldn't write "happy mommy day", it looks too ugly š¢. Despite her discouragement, I adored her present, especially the effort she put into drawing something I really like...Flork š. I told her that the rock was beautiful and thanked her with a kiss and a tight hug š¤.
Of the rock my husband made if I have pictures of the process, he took them...thanks to his Hive habits š. I got the same complaint that my daughter gave me: how difficult!!!! š±.
He says that the design changed shapes and colors several times and in the end the result was not what imagined š. I was equally grateful for the time spent to make something for me with his own hands. He spent several hours locked up on the terrace of the house so that I wouldn't see the rock until it was completely ready.
Flowers and hearts!!! The hearts because he loves me (so he says) š, the flowers were to fill in the spaces and to test a tool I have for making dots š.
