Here's my 44th Splinterlands Guild Brawl Report for PIZZA 2 The Deep Dish. 🍕⚔️🛡️
It's the ✨🏅✨Gold Foil Chaos Legion Fray no.12✨🏅✨ for the 27th week in a row for me.

I'm still maintaining my 60% win rate so far thanks to the 3W1L results from the previous brawl. It has been a good run of results thus far for me personally. Not quite a clean sweep of perfect wins, but that's probably asking too much of myself 💯🤣.
Will I be able to continue with this rich vein of form? I certainly do hope so, although I'll definitely need some luck on my side to get a favourable draw of available splinters and rulesets. My limited collection always means my performances will depend on the vagaries of the RNG Gods of Splinterlands.
I "finally" have another Gladius pack to open up this week after having a barren spell for that one instance previously. It isn't all doom and gloom though as that means I'm getting less merits from my chests and more rewards. 🤣
There wasn't anything special in this particular pack though. Just the standard 1 rare and 4 commons. Ah well, better luck next time perhaps? 😜

As usual, I make an extra effort to rent ✨Gold Foil Chaos Legion✨ cards that align with my daily focus during Guild Brawl days.
Hopefully Lady Luck continues to shine on me 🍀🍀🍀 and I don't get too many weird ruleset combinations which will completely screw up my limited Gold Foil selection of cards. (🤣 yeah, that's how terrible I am, to have to rely on luck for my wins)
- Some thoughts I have about my exploits in the Gold Frays. 💭🤔
I feel like I'm winning because my opponent has even less Gold Foil cards available to him than I do. Personally, I find it slightly flattering to me. The teams I field are definitely not the absolute strongest, but more of what is available to me.
It also doesn't account for HOW I win some of the fights though. I've realised that a fair number of them are from opponents who just gave up and did not even face me in battle. ⚔️⚔️⚔️
My choice of picking up the Gold Foil frays is to simply give the Guild a better chance at accumulating more wins, seeing especially that IN THE PAST, many Gold Frays were left empty. Even if I were to lose everything and win just 1 match, it would definitely help in securing a better finishing position overall. 🥇🥈🥉
I've joined the Pizza 2 Guild over at the PIZZA DISCORD and was introduced to the world of Guild Brawls in Splinterlands. It has been an interesting experience to say the least. 🎉🥳🎊
Guild Brawls are generally the same as Battles, but with some minor tweaks (of which I'll save for another day). Lets get right down to business as I analyze my brawls. 🧐⚔️🛡️
With all that said, lets FINALLY get down to a review of my battles 😁, or in some cases where my opponent fled 🏃🏻💨 - non battles 😨.

A bad start for me.
I had completely forgotten about the Super Sneak ruleset when I picked my teams thus leaving my Witch of Warwick exposed. This was also a bad matchup with the Witch being negated by the opponent's choice of summoner.
Some very bad choices led to an obvious and deserved loss for me 😭.
WON.
I was able to pretty much field as strong a team as I possibly could, with Earth being my strongest Gold Foil splinter by far. 😁
My Gladius card, Bertrol Gobson, managed to get a few kills allowing it to become a massive beast. Although, I would have won regardless of him 🤣. His Bloodlusted super boost was just icing on the cake.
I would say that the MVP was probably my Mycelic Infantry who did an exceptional job tanking everything the opponent had to throw at it. It's SHIELD combined with the Disintegrator's DEMORALIZE negated most of the opponent's attacks. If not for the opponent using Nerissa Tridawn, I think it would have definitely lasted the entire battle. 😱🛡

Similar to the previous brawl, I lost only once this time round. It wasn't a bad result but I felt that loss could have been avoided had I paid attention to the ruleset instead of hurriedly picking a team.
Other than that, I thought it went pretty well overall.
I feel it's important that Guilds are able to fill out all the frays - even the significantly "harder" Gold ones. It is very likely that most guilds (at our level) skip the Gold frays completely, or are unable to even field a team if they've got no Gold Foil Summoners. This therefore leads to a better overall score.

A great achievement once again. We've maintained 2nd yet again just like for the previous brawl. It's a pity that once again we were unable to completely fill our frays, and even had a particular member who has once again gone completely MIA after joining the brawls.
Paging for you @lordb. You've been missing for several weeks, and joining in the Brawls but not fielding a single battle at all.
