I am currently president of dCity, and I have been doing this job for a while now. I never want to imply that I am angling to become emperor for life, because we are not quite there yet. But in the meantime, I have been happy to work my system.
I've written quite a few posts about the pieces.
Late last year I saw an opportunity, and put a plan into action - launching the LABFUND token and selling out 10,000 HIVE stake in our @superlab dCity. This was the first piece. Those who got in have so far gotten back 0.28 HIVE and 2.5 ARMERO tokens. If ARMERO tokens are worth ~0.275 HIVE, investors only really have 0.0325 HIVE of risk left, and the value of the assets on the @superlab account puts the NAV around 1.7 HIVE.
ARMERO was a subsidiary piece of the puzzle (second piece), a profitable place to put all the Sick Citizens coming out of the @superlab; and everyone that participated in LABFUND got a taste. But also, all dCity players could send in NFTs for tokens, so this was, and continues to be a really open project.
@armero (and now @armero2) are not designed to maximize divs, but to continue to grow. As a corporate city construct, players can send as many tokens as they want, and it will grow to dominate accordingly. It pays out HIVE dividends currently about 3 times per month.
These pieces are working very well, although its hard to get hands on any citizens anymore....
Backroom Buyouts
One tool in the toolchest has always been underpriced buyouts. Recently, I have taken to looking for players with a large number of citizens and reaching out to them to try to strike a deal, either swapping for basic homes or some other way.
I integrate @superlab right into the process, automatically sending citizens purchased under such a buyout over to the account at a flat rate, of which I accept payment in ARMERO token. The ARMERO token has become an asset-backed internal currency that I have been able to use to move assets around fairly between different projects.
Its dividends have been greatly improved since the inception of @armero2, I'll let the holders feel how its going for another month or two before making another post about the matter.
Same with LABFUND. We are still comfortably in phase 2, continuing to buyback small bits of LABFUND undervalued on the market, and reinvesting in experimenting on new citizens as they come in. We continue to climb the ranks of the War Share leaderboard:
Trust in the process
Feel free to sell your LABFUND on the market, but if not, just trust in the process it will continue to pay out ARMERO token dividends. These can be traded or held for HIVE dividends. I will not be making another post this quarter on these tokens unless something comes up - just know that the tokens are doing their jobs.
Sell me your old cities / Buy a high APR starter city from me
I am a full-range dCity broker, reach out to me any time about buying or selling any one or combination of these NFTs. You might say that nobody deals in dCity like I do. Which might be why I am the President. The people trust me.
I put my money where my mouth is in terms of governance. I am committed to defending the SIM price by minimizing SIM printing in the near term. One day I hope to spark a governance war by trying to become dictator for life, but that day is not yet here.
There are many upcoming catalysts for the SIM price. Time will tell, but I think it will be better for us all to be conservative about printing, so we can all ride the HIVE wave higher in the upcoming months and years.
Currently SIM POWER numbers are increasing about 440k per day, and the graph is gently curving, I think we are doing very well compared to past times.
We can get stricter still, but maybe it is not necessary. As we keep experimenting, and possibly even printing new cards, and paying student debts, and generally playing the game - some amount of SIM will be necessary. Possibly there will be future uses of SIM as well as new internal mini-games, or games within games, are developed.
Get used to my color blue, because @ecoinstant is not letting go of the reins that easily this time....
Final boss is d-pend, we will see when he decides to show up again. But even then, he won't be able to do much more than vote for the second highest person, whoever that is at the time. Party politics for the win.
Let's take a look at the serious votes and SIMclub members:
While I have never seen @aggroed or @smalp vote, most of these players have been active at sometime or another and recently. But lots of these big ones don't vote necessarily every round.
I think we can more easily establish a benevolent reign because we are showing the disciplined hard work of honest, diligent leadership with fiscal prudence. Let's give the devs time to keep developing, and moving along their plans. Time is our friend. Keep mining citizens comrades.
