There is always a moment of happiness and that of sadness. Many situations may warrant you to be in the mood you find yourself. We just have every reason to express the way we feel from inside, but at times, there is a need to put it under control.
There is an aspect I've grown to learn, which is the fact that we do not have to allow circumstances to control our emotions but instead do all it takes to control our circumstances. Being in a bad mood when situations turn out bad is a normal thing, but the action you take during that mood tells more about you. At times, when someone becomes frustrated, he/she might be labelled to be bad or hostile (which might not be so). So, there is a possibility that a person may term you to be bad when you are not.
There is no magic about this. There will definitely be a moment you might be sad. Keeping engaged with other things saves us from being swallowed by our circumstances. It is often good to cheer up and never let your present situation determine or control your mood. There's a need to have control over our mood, which saves us a lot of stress.
Getting engaged in physical activity also helps as well. Yoga exercises help to build the mind and body, which also help us to forget our pains most times.
The essence of this post is to stir up our mind to positivities that will help deal with a sad situation whenever it happens. We should learn to be happy and make others smiles as well because the happiness you're looking for might be other people's happiness as well. Never make people sad but appreciate them in your little way.
