Love is beautiful and sweet when with the right person. When there is love between two persons, they tends to understand each other better. Meanwhile, understanding is not the only key that makes a relationship work out well, there are other things that will be involved, which I will be explaining later on in this post.
Firstly, let me give a brief definition of love. At one point of our life, we would have experience love, either family love or friendship love. There are different kinds of love if you will agree with me, but the one we will be talking about here is romantic love (love expressed between couples).
Romantic love is defined as having a feeling towards opposite sex thereby being sexually and romantically attracted to each other. This definition has opened our eyes to see that when there is love between two people, they tend to have romantic and sexual attraction, but is love limited to that alone? No! Journey with me as we look at it together.
HOW TO KNOW YOU ARE IN LOVE AS A COUPLE?!
Being in love with someone makes you want to be seen with them, you always wants to be where he or she is. There’s is this kind of attraction that connects you two together and that’s where CONNECTION comes in, you will not want to be too far from your partner. You will always have them in your thoughts. I call it “thought stalking” if there’s any word like that. Lol...
The next one is making them your PRIORITY, you find yourself creating time to be together, you want to embark on a project or journey, he or she will be the first person to know. You will make sure to let them know because you see them as being part of you. You always put them first in your decision making.
Have you ever been with someone that you always crave them? Yeah! It happens when you are in love with someone. CRAVING the person you love is not bad. Everyday, you’ll always crave their presence, their touch, even their sweet voice, everything about them will always melt your heart.
COMMITMENT - I have a saying that, don’t tell me you love me, but rather show and proof it to me. Love is an action that should be expressed and not by mere words of the mouth. It will be such a great feeling when both parties are reciprocating the love shown towards each other. Being committed in a relationship also means you both are putting in the same effort to make the relationship work and make it the best one ever.
HOW TO EXPRESS LOVE AS A COUPLE
COMPLIMENT - You see your wife glamorously dressed with a very nice touch of makeover, and you could not even say “wow... your dress looks so beautiful, your beauty keeps attracting me each day”. She will feel so good about herself and even if an outsider compliments her, it won’t sound new to her. Also, it’s not only a lady that need to be complimented, guys needs it too. A guy that dresses well, with a well groomed haircut and beard deserves an accolade. It’s not easy to be handsomely dressed. We are meant to compliment each other. It also makes the love bond strong.
KINDNESS - it is one thing to be with someone you love and it’s another thing for such person to be a kindhearted person. Love alone does not makes a relationship last longer, other virtues are needed. A kind person will be patient with you even when you start acting weird. Everyday cannot be all rosy and that we will be at our best bahaviour. Will the person you claim to love still stay with you in such times. A kind person will be ready to give you a helping hand when you needed their help and will treat you gently.
APPRECIATION - Show of appreciation is not meant to be seen in a romantic relationship alone, it is good to show appreciation to anyone who do you good. Your wife does your laundry and takes proper care of the house, you need to appreciate her. You were cooking and your husband was kind enough to join you, appreciate him. Don’t make it feel like you are entitled to them, even if you are... show gratitude! Appreciate them and always tell them how much they mean to you.
MY EXPERIENCE SHOWING LOVE IN A RELATIONSHIP
Having being in a relationship in the past, I can say that I’ve given so much love than I ever received. Love depreciates when one partner’s love measures more than the other. Maybe, it was been proved to the wrong person, that was why it turned out the way it did.
Although, many might have claimed to be in love not knowing what true love is. I just hope that luck will shine on me someday and I will get to experience love as much I give and desire.
CONCLUSION
Love being a beautiful thing doesn’t mean that there won’t be challenges on the way. It can’t be all rosy. It just requires the cooperation, understanding, perseverance and sacrifice of two people. Two wrongs can never make a right. Do your best to make your relationship a perfect one. You can search more for other virtues that makes a long lasting relationship in marriage aside the ones mentioned above.

El amor es hermoso y dulce cuando está con la persona adecuada. Cuando hay amor entre dos personas, tienden a entenderse mejor. Mientras tanto, la comprensión no es la única clave que hace que una relación funcione bien, hay otras cosas que intervienen, que explicaré más adelante en este post.
En primer lugar, permítanme dar una breve definición del amor. En algún momento de nuestra vida, habremos experimentado el amor, ya sea el amor familiar o el amor de amistad. Hay diferentes tipos de amor, pero del que vamos a hablar aquí es del amor romántico (el que se expresa entre parejas).
El amor romántico se define como tener un sentimiento hacia el sexo opuesto y, por tanto, sentirse atraído sexual y románticamente. Esta definición nos ha abierto los ojos para ver que cuando hay amor entre dos personas, tienden a tener atracción romántica y sexual, pero ¿el amor se limita sólo a eso? No. Acompáñenme a ver esto juntos.
¿CÓMO SABER QUE ESTÁN ENAMORADOS COMO PAREJA?
Estar enamorado de alguien te hace querer que te vean con él o ella, siempre quieres estar donde él o ella está. Hay una especie de atracción que os une a los dos y ahí es donde entra la CONEXIÓN, no querrás estar demasiado lejos de tu pareja. Siempre los tendrás en tus pensamientos. Yo lo llamo "acoso del pensamiento" si es que hay alguna palabra así. Lol...
La siguiente es hacer de ellos tu Prioridad, te encuentras creando tiempo para estar juntos, quieres embarcarte en un proyecto o viaje, él o ella será la primera persona en saberlo. Te asegurarás de hacérselo saber porque los ves como parte de ti. Siempre los pones en primer lugar a la hora de tomar decisiones.
¿Has estado alguna vez con alguien que siempre se te antoja? Sí. Esto sucede cuando estás enamorado de alguien. Anhelar a la persona que amas no es malo. Todos los días, siempre anhelarás su presencia, su tacto, incluso su dulce voz, todo lo relacionado con ella siempre te derretirá el corazón.
COMENTAR - Tengo un dicho que dice, no me digas que me amas, más bien demuéstramelo y demuéstralo. El amor es una acción que debe ser expresada y no por meras palabras de la boca. Será un gran sentimiento cuando ambas partes correspondan al amor mostrado hacia el otro. Comprometerse en una relación también significa que ambos ponen el mismo esfuerzo para que la relación funcione y sea la mejor.
CÓMO EXPRESAR EL AMOR EN PAREJA
COMPLIMENTACIÓN - Ves a tu mujer vestida con glamour y con un toque de maquillaje muy bonito, y no podrías ni decir "vaya... tu vestido es tan bonito, tu belleza me sigue atrayendo cada día". Ella se sentirá muy bien consigo misma e incluso si una persona ajena le hace un cumplido, no le sonará a nuevo. Además, no sólo las mujeres necesitan que las piropeen, los hombres también. Un chico que viste bien, con un corte de pelo y una barba bien arreglados merece un elogio. No es fácil ir bien vestido. Estamos hechos para complementarnos. También hace que el vínculo amoroso sea fuerte.
KINDNESS - Una cosa es estar con alguien a quien amas y otra cosa es que esa persona tenga un buen corazón. El amor por sí solo no hace que una relación dure más, se necesitan otras virtudes. Una persona amable será paciente contigo incluso cuando empieces a actuar de forma extraña. Todos los días no pueden ser de color de rosa y estar en nuestro mejor momento. La persona que dices amar seguirá contigo en esos momentos. Una persona amable estará dispuesta a echarte una mano cuando necesites su ayuda y te tratará con delicadeza.
AGRADECIMIENTO - Las muestras de agradecimiento no son sólo para una relación romántica, es bueno mostrar agradecimiento a cualquiera que te haga un bien. Tu mujer te hace la colada y cuida bien la casa, tienes que apreciarla. Si estabas cocinando y tu marido tuvo la amabilidad de acompañarte, aprécialo. No hagas sentir que tienes derecho a ellos, aunque lo tengas... ¡muestra gratitud! Aprécialos y diles siempre lo mucho que significan para ti.
MI EXPERIENCIA DEMOSTRANDO AMOR EN UNA RELACIÓN
Habiendo estado en una relación en el pasado, puedo decir que he dado mucho amor del que he recibido. El amor se deprecia cuando el amor de un miembro de la pareja mide más que el del otro. Tal vez, se le demostró a la persona equivocada, por eso resultó como lo hizo.
Aunque, muchos pueden haber afirmado estar enamorados sin saber lo que es el verdadero amor. Sólo espero que la suerte me ilumine algún día y consiga experimentar el amor tanto como doy y deseo.
CONCLUSIÓN
Que el amor sea algo hermoso no significa que no haya desafíos en el camino. No puede ser todo de color de rosa. Sólo requiere la cooperación, la comprensión, la perseverancia y el sacrificio de dos personas. Dos males nunca pueden hacer un bien. Haz todo lo posible para que tu relación sea perfecta. Puedes buscar otras virtudes que hacen que una relación sea duradera en el matrimonio, aparte de las mencionadas anteriormente.
