Espero que al igual que a mí, les guste el contenido de hoy. Una de las primeras cosas que quiero mencionar, es que había pasado tiempo desde que hacía algo con tantas ganas, esa es la razón por la cual este maquillaje es tan especial para mí y es que últimamente he estado un tanto dispersa, sin deseos de hacer nada.
I hope you like today's content as much as I do. One of the first things I want to mention is that it's been a while since I've done something with so much desire, that's the reason why this makeup is so special for me and that's because lately I've been a bit scattered, without desire to do anything.
Por eso está experiencia en particular, resultó tan gratificante y renovadora. Ayer las cosas fluyeron súper bien y puedo decir que el proceso fue estupendo, más allá de los errores porque como saben, este es un arte que estoy aprendiendo. También quiero agregar que, el maquillaje (en general) me ha sorprendido gratamente en más de una manera, es divertido y diferente a lo que había imaginado. Lo digo en el mejor de los sentidos, es extremadamente interesante y la cantidad de cosas que se pueden hacer es increíble, a mí siempre me llamó la atención pero dedicar tiempo a practicar y aprender, es otro cosa, en serio.
That's why this particular experience was so rewarding and renewing. Yesterday things flowed super well and I can say that the process was great, beyond the mistakes because as you know, this is an art that I am learning. I also want to add that, the makeup (in general) has pleasantly surprised me in more ways than one, it's fun and different from what I had imagined. I mean that in the best way possible, it is extremely interesting and the amount of things you can do is incredible, it always caught my attention but to dedicate time to practice and learn, it's something else, really.
Una vez preparada la piel, empecé a peinar y a definir la forma de mis cejas con un lápiz retráctil de Salomé en el tono 01. Este producto es parte de un kit que incluye un peine para cejas en el extremo opuesto del lápiz, el kit también trae una pomada, una sombra y un mini espejo.
Once the skin was prepped, I started combing and defining the shape of my brows with a Salomé retractable pencil in shade 01. This product is part of a kit that includes a brow comb on the opposite end of the pencil, the kit also brings a pomade, a shadow and a mini mirror.
Luego apliqué corrector alrededor de mis cejas para obtener un mejor acabado y de una vez coloqué un poco de este producto en mis párpados y difuminé con una Beauty Blender. Para este paso usé un corrector líquido en el tono 1.5 de la marca Salomé.
I then applied concealer around my eyebrows to get a better finish and at once I placed some of this product on my eyelids and blended with a Beauty Blender. For this step I used a liquid concealer in shade 1.5 from the brand Salomé.
Con una brocha difuminadora, apliqué un tono de transición, luego una sombra rojiza y con otra brocha empecé a aplicar negro. Al principio quería que se notará más que todo el rojo pero terminé agregando más negro mientras difuminaba ambas sombras y siento que fue una buena decisión. Usé la paleta de sombras número 02 de 12 tonos de Salomé.
With a blending brush, I applied a transition shade, then a reddish shadow and with another brush I started applying black. At first I wanted more of the red to show through but I ended up adding more black while blending both shades and I feel it was a good decision. I used Salome's number 02 me of the 12 eyeshadow palette.
Para definir la forma de las sombras realicé una doble limpieza. Empecé con ayuda de hisopos y un desmaquillante doble fase de la marca Sentiva, luego utilicé agua micelar limpieza 5 en 1 de Zoha. Debo admitir que fue mi primera vez haciendo este tipo de limpieza y la verdad es que, ahora entiendo porque la recomiendan tanto, deja un acabado muy bonito y siento que me salió bastante bien para ser mi primer intento.
To define the shape of the shadows I did a double cleansing. I started with swabs and a Sentiva dual-phase makeup remover, then used Zoha's 5 in 1 micellar cleansing water. I must admit that it was my first time doing this type of cleansing and the truth is, now I understand why they recommend it so much, it leaves a very nice finish and I feel that I did quite well for my first attempt.
El detalle fue el siguiente, como apliqué la sombra hasta arriba porque no sabía cuál forma iba a hacer... Al hacer la limpieza, hice un mini desastre en la parte de abajo de mis cejas y el lápiz no quería pigmentar así que decidí usar la pomada del kit que les mencioné, está fue mi primera vez usando esta clase de producto para las cejas así que tenía mis reservas pero me gustó cómo quedaron.
The detail was the following, as I applied the shadow all the way to the top because I didn't know what shape I was going to do.... When I did the clean up, I made a mini mess at the bottom of my brows and the pencil didn't want to pigment so I decided to use the pomade from the kit I mentioned, this was my first time using this kind of brow product so I had my reservations but I liked how they turned out.
Apliqué la base Pure Beige de AOA y difuminé con la Beauty Blender. Luego coloqué el corrector que les mencioné, en las zonas del rostro que deseaba iluminar y una vez más, difuminé con la Beauty Blender.
I applied the AOA Pure Beige foundation and blended with the Beauty Blender. I then placed the concealer I mentioned on the areas of the face I wanted to brighten and again, blended with the Beauty Blender.
Después hice el contorno del rostro y traté de que quedara un con poco más marcado de lo usual, admito que me gustó. Apliqué rubor número 03 de Salomé, difuminé súper bien y noté que no había contorneado la nariz, así que lo hice.
Then I contoured the face and tried to make it a little more pronounced than usual, I admit I liked it. I applied Salomé blush number 03, blended it super well and noticed that I hadn't contoured the nose, so I did.
Apliqué un labial mate en el tono 02 de la marca Salomé y después usé una pomada marrón para delinear mis labios, difuminé partiendo del borde hacía el centro y de verdad, me gustó el resultado. Para finalizar apliqué polvo traslúcido de AOA y listo.
I applied a matte lipstick in shade 02 from Salomé and then I used a brown pomade to line my lips, I blended from the edge to the center and I really liked the result. To finish I applied AOA translucent powder and that was it.
Bueno, eso fue todo y puedo decir que me siento orgullosa de cada una de las cosas que hice. Desde el peinado que realicé ese día, pasando por los accesorios que había hecho previamente, el maquillaje, el outfit, las fotos, la forma en la que les mostré los pasos, la imagen principal... En resumen, me gustó todo y mi parte favorita, fue que disfruté enormemente el proceso.
Well, that was it and I can say that I am proud of every single thing I did. From the hairstyle I did that day, to the accessories I had previously made, the makeup, the outfit, the photos, the way I showed you the steps, the main image.... In short, I liked everything and my favorite part was that I enjoyed the process immensely.
Las fotos fueron tomadas con la cámara trasera de mi Tecno Camon 17 Pro y para la iluminación, usé un aro de luz de 12 pulgadas. Luz blanca cálida para las fotos del maquillaje terminado y luz blanca fría para los pasos, por eso lucen tan diferentes. Hice la corrección de color en Polarr, usé Canva hacer la imagen principal y las imágenes de los pasos del maquillaje.
The photos were taken with the back camera of my Tecno Camon 17 Pro and for the lighting, I used a 12 inch ring light. Warm white light for the finished makeup photos and cool white light for the steps, that's why they look so different. I did the color correction in Polarr, used Canva to make the main image and the images of the makeup steps.
Admito que hacer la imagen inicial fue un tanto frustrante debido al Internet, perdí el primer diseño que hice... Pasaron mil cosas y no se guardaron muchos de los cambios pero tiempo más tarde, seguí intentando y debo admitir que la imagen que quedó al final, me gustó más que la que perdí así que no todo fue malo.
I admit that making the initial image was a bit frustrating due to the Internet, I lost the first design I made... A thousand things happened and not many of the changes were saved but some time later, I kept trying and I must admit that the image that was left at the end, I liked it better than the one I lost so it wasn't all bad. By the way, I used Canva to make the main image and the images of the makeup steps.
