Sex is not an act of commitment. Men still leave the women they sleep with on bed and start thinking of the next woman to sleep with. The satisfaction that comes from sex dies in minutes. It is in the nature of lions to go miles to hunt. The same with men. A man who can afford the expenses of flying from Nigeria to South Africa for sex would do it as if he would never turn to another woman for sex.
Sex drives men to do what seems like the impossible and such turns women around and they start acting weird. Sex and love are not on the same page even in the dictionary. People can abandon their gold mines and dig the grave for sex. Most young men do terrible things just to have the resources to keep many girls in their life. You may think they are working hard to live well in the future but they are just living for fun and that is all.
Students are now living together like husbands and wives, and our society calls it love. What kind of people do these students become when they leave school?
This is why we have a lot of frustrated graduates than nations building graduates.
Today, a 16-year-old girl is already into sex. She wants to wear everything on trend. She is already a prostitute in the sense that any man that comes her way for relationship must show some signs of money and she would respond to him.
The funny thing is this, almost all those girls that have become sex symbols end up in a deep mess. How many of them today is changing the world they are into? What kind of spirit would they do well within life? They have sold their souls out to sex. They pride on what they wear and hotels they go to. That is their biggest achievement. The girls they called cowards are setting up economic empires. Their future is already exhausted when they come to their true sense.
The following 5 points show that sex is not a commitment:
Sex does not Strengthen a Relationship: A relationship that is weak is weak not because there is no sex in it, but because there is no love (affection), communication and commitment in it. Adequate daily Communication, giving attention to each other (spending time together) and showing Affection (speaking each others' love language) for each other strengthens relationships.
Sex does not Spice up a Relationship: Ebi "let us spice our relationship with sex" A relationship is boring not because of a lack of Sex, but because of a lack of purpose, fun, friendship and excitement in the individual and cooperate lives of those in it.
Sex does not Prove Love: Ebi "If you love me, prove it" Sex is not a way you prove your love for anyone, especially someone you are not married to, In fact, abstinence is a better proof of love than sex. Your ability to wait is a proof of true love than your inability to wait which is rather a proof of lust. A Person can have sex with you and not love you.
Sex does not Keep a Relationship: Ebi "I do not want to lose him" You can give him or her sex and they will still dump you tomorrow, we counsel our brothers and sisters of this day. Even with good sex, marriages still break down everyday, talk less of a relationship. What keeps a relationship is love, respect, character, and commitment.
Sex does not prove that you are a mature adult: Ebi "We are matured adults, let us do it." When did sex become the sign of matured adults? Immature and irresponsible teenagers have sex everyday, does that make them adults? Sex does not mean you are matured, rather you prove your maturity by discipline and self control.
