生意好到要排隊的牛排館很多,這次我要吃的牛排館,叫做傳品牛排,有人稱它是被牛排耽誤的熱炒店,意思就是店內的自助沙拉吧的熱炒菜色很多元、很好吃,但是它是一家牛排館,其實,很久以前我就聽過傳品牛排很便宜,傳品牛排的旗艦店在板橋,客人只要點一份套餐就可以享用自助沙拉吧的菜色,近期物價飛漲,它最低的價錢的特製牛排套餐,已經由兩百元台幣,一路漲到現在的三百元台幣,再不去吃,我不確定是否它會漲到四百元台幣。
某天,選個好日子,找了幾位好友過去板橋看看,傳品牛排的板橋店,就在捷運站附近,走個幾分鐘就到了,算是交通方便,一到店家門口,沒想到前面已經排了快十個人了,天啊!我最討厭要排隊用餐的,但是為了探店,只好和朋友一起排隊,還好,我們運氣好,等沒多久,就可以入場用餐了,聽說由於傳品牛排不接受訂位,現場等候至少半小時以上,店內就是那種古典裝潢風格,貼木牆壁塑造溫暖感覺,沙拉吧提供豐富的台式熱炒、冷盤、炸物、水果、生菜沙拉、飲料等。
我們一坐定位,發現沙拉吧已經是滿滿的人潮,我就先去店內晃晃,看看有甚麼值得的餐點,後來發覺,重點就是它的沙拉吧,它的沙拉吧只有七樣餐點,但是換得蠻快的,只要有任一樣餐點快要吃完了,店員會立刻補上新的菜色,所以,大家都常常去沙拉吧巡,看看是否已經上了新的菜色,聽說炸雞翅是自助吧的招牌菜,因為只要有上炸雞翅,店家就會高聲通知店內客人「炸雞翅」,然後大家就會衝到自助吧來搶炸雞翅,然後炸雞翅就會瞬間被大家拿光光,根據朋友說,口感普通,比一般炸雞店的炸雞翅,難吃一點點,但是網路上幾乎都說,它的炸雞翅酥脆又多汁,比外面的炸物店還要好吃,這點,我只能說口味這件事情,每個人都或多或少不一樣,還是要自己體驗比較準。
我點的是特製牛排,朋友點的是沙朗牛排,我們覺得我們的套餐有到水準,沙拉吧真的很不錯,店家補菜,補得很勤快,我們都有吃到各自喜歡的菜色,沒有吃得很地雷的食物,店內是座無虛席,外面一直有人在排隊,等著入場用餐,限時用餐九十分鐘,讓我覺得不愉快,但是好像大部份的店家都這樣,這家店我會建議沒吃過的朋友,可以來試試看,但是我應該不會再來第二次,不是店家不好,只是我覺得這樣等級的店家,市場上有很多,我只要吃過一次,就夠了,網路上大家都說這家店CP值很高,我個人是覺得正常價位,沒有到CP值很高。
Many steakhouses are so popular that you have to wait in line, and the one I'm going to try this time is called "Chuan Pin Steakhouse." Some call it a Stir-fried restaurant delayed by steaks, meaning their salad bar offers a wide variety of delicious Stir-fried dishes. However, it's actually a steakhouse. I've heard for a long time that Chuan Pin Steakhouse is quite affordable. Their flagship store is in Banqiao, and customers only need to order a set meal to enjoy the offerings from the salad bar. With recent inflation, the price of their cheapest special steak set meal has risen from 200 NT dollars to now 300 NT dollars. If I don't go soon, I'm not sure if it will rise to 400 NT dollars.
One day, on a good day, I invited a few friends to visit Banqiao and check out Chuan Pin Steakhouse. The Banqiao branch of Chuan Pin Steakhouse is near the MRT station, just a few minutes' walk away, so it's convenient to get there. As soon as we arrived at the restaurant, we were surprised to see a line of nearly ten people already waiting. Oh my god! I hate waiting in line for dining, but for the sake of exploring new places, I had to queue up with my friends. Luckily, we got lucky and didn't have to wait long before we could dine in. I heard that because Chuan Pin Steakhouse doesn't take reservations, the wait at the venue is at least half an hour. The restaurant has a classical decor style, with wooden walls creating a warm atmosphere. The salad bar offers a rich selection of Taiwanese-style Stir-fried dishes, cold dishes, fried foods, fruits, lettuce salad, drinks, and more.
Once we were seated, we noticed that the salad bar was already crowded with people. I went inside the restaurant to take a look at the menu and found out that the highlight was the salad bar. Although the salad bar only had seven dishes, they were replenished quite quickly. As soon as any dish was running out, the staff would immediately replace it with a new one. So, everyone often visited the salad bar to see if any new dishes had been added. I heard that the fried chicken wings were the signature dish of the salad bar. Whenever they were replenished, the staff would loudly announce "fried chicken wings" and then everyone would rush to the salad bar to grab them. According to my friend, the taste was average, a bit less tasty than the fried chicken wings from ordinary fried chicken shops, but almost everyone on the internet said that their fried chicken wings were crispy and juicy, even better than those from outside fried food shops. This just goes to show that taste is subjective, and everyone's preferences vary.
I ordered the special steak, while my friend ordered the sirloin steak. We felt that our set meals were up to standard, and the salad bar was really good. The restaurant replenished the dishes promptly, and we all got to eat our favorite dishes without encountering any duds. The restaurant was packed, and there were people waiting in line outside, waiting to dine in. The dining time was limited to ninety minutes, which made me feel unpleasant, but it seems like most restaurants operate this way. I would recommend this restaurant to friends who haven't tried it yet, but personally, I probably won't come back for a second time. It's not that the restaurant is bad; it's just that I feel there are many restaurants of this caliber in the market, and once I've tried it once, that's enough. People on the internet say that this restaurant offers great value for money, but personally, I think the prices are just normal and not particularly high value.
