Talking about my Nigerian favourite movie, right now I will say its blood sisters that movie was epic, interesting, educative and sweet. I was glued to my TV set when watching it,with no distractions or noise from anybody.

This movie talks about different aspect of our lives as an individual, a family and as a country. This particular series talks about favoritism of parents between their children, Real friendship, domestic violence, toxic parenting and drug abuse. In blood sisters a parent loving one child more than the other two children destroyed their lives, they started fighting for positions, who to be the head of the family company but to their mother the one she loves the most will always be the best at very thing it doesn't matter the flaws he has, she loves him regardless.
About the sarah that was abused who stayed in the relationship knowing that it was bad and was ready to get married to her abuser(kola), Even on the wedding day kola still abused sarah. Her friend(kemi) told her she should stop the wedding because she can't continue her whole life like that but sarah's mother refused to see reasons with her daughter, parents tend to forget the importance of the well being of their children and instead think about the material things they will benefit through their children. Her friend Kemi killed kola unintentionally when she was trying to save sarah from kola on the wedding day. No matter what happened after kola was killed this two friends never pushed the blame towards each other, they owned up to everything together, they fought for each other and that is friendship.

Talking about kola mother she knew her son was an abuser still she was happy with it, even in death she loved him more than the other two children. Her extreme love for kola which she gave birth to through her infidelity brought rivalry between the siblings. They did not love themselves and this is what bad parenting has done to some homes.

Also about sarah ex lover Kenny, he truly loved her. It doesn't matter if sarah left him for another he helped sarah in ways he could after kola murder which led to his death. He stayed by her through it, not minding she and her friend killed someone.
Kola's friend also was a good one though he never knew his friend was abusive, he tried investigating and helping the girls how he could by getting kola drawing of girls he has abused.

The justice system has failed alot of people and this movie blood sisters showed it in some ways. The police failed to ask the right questions of why two girls will kill a man, all they cared about was catching the girls because they have been bribed not ask questions.

Blood sisters has taught one not to love one child more than the other it brings destruction to homes, parents learn to listen to your children and not force then into abuse relationships for material gain and as friends learn to fight for your friends be there for them in every way you can. Don't just be friends for selfish reasons and personal gain.

well done bruh

Thank you

Really nice life lessons you pointed out here. A lot of parents are oblivious of the hate they breed among their children when they love some more than the others.

Thanks for your entry.

Thank you for reading, this situations are what happens in almost every Nigerian homes. We pray to do better than our parents.

Too much hype on this movie
I will download and watch
It really seems interesting 🤔

@aise53 I think I really need to check this movie out it's making a lot of Fuzz

You should watch it, it was interesting and fun.

I just concluded this movie today and this review was spot on!
There are so many lessons to learn from friendships to marriage and family.
The way the girls took care of each other gave me goosebumps.

Though I thought Kemi would’ve ran to call for help instead, at least that would have exposed him and saved her friend. Or what do you think?

I thought so too when I was watching, infact I was screaming go and call somebody. If she had called someone, they might have done same thing that sarah's mother did instead of talking about the issue, they might have convinced sarah that nothing is wrong with what kola was doing.
