This podcast is based around promoting our culture and heritage as Africans. The African culture is one that is being respected everywhere.
Looking around as a Nigerian, I can tell that our culture is gradually fading away and we are gradually loosing our heritage.
Let us come together to embrace our culture.

We tend to forget that every culture has it's dark side and what we need is to develop our culture to a more favourable and hospitable one. Nigerians generally have always been known for been accommodating and selfless until now.
What development are you referring to? I feel it's become unnecessary and shouldn't be considered as much especially since a majority of our cultures are developed majorly for selfish reasons.
It's unfortunate that a majority of Nigeria culture has been thrown into the wind thanks to civilisation.
What difference does it make anyway? Majority of the culture we're fighting to bring back was born out of selfishness and the means to control others. Is it really worth fighting for?
Almost all have been thrown away.
Our true culture was never born out of selfishness but love and selflessness. Unfortunately, our culture is getting diluted and adulterated by the ones who we look up to.
All in all, we need to fight for what we truly are.
I already made up my mind to send my kids to Nigeria no matter what. They will know their heritage and not be ashamed of it. I think the desperation for validation stems this issue plus the wide use of social media now. I can't speak my language but I hear it very well. My mom brought me up listening to my language but for some reason, I am the only black sheep🤣 This is a great podcast. Thank you for posting in the HiveNaija Community.

To be honest, even though I am based in the UK my children will definitely know their root. This my sound sarcastic but Yoruba would be the official language in home and around my children.
Modernization has caused cultures to fade away, more and more indigenes are adapting other civilization cultures because to them it's better than theirs. Nigeria is no exception to this, but, we can't blame the younger generations adapting new cultures, most of our cultures are limiting and most times don't favour everyone's nature.
You might be right, to an extent. But I believe we are the once to build our culture into a sustainable one.
Let's embrace it and keep it going.
In Africa 🌍 most especially this western part, I don't believe we have culture anymore all in the name of civilization.

Exactly my point. Our culture has been traded for God knows what. We need to go back to our root and rebuild our faulty foundation.
