I have heard of war, I have watched people war, believe me, nobody wants war, in such a state we seem to forget about the things we love or value most. Family, friends, money, and fame no longer matter, our one goal at that moment is staying alive, and we tend to want to achieve this at all cost. It's unfortunate for the people of Ukraine who are being invaded by the Russians. The little weapons in the arsenal of the Ukraine are helping them be at the defensive side, and this made me wonder what would have happened if it was Nigeria that was being invaded, would I fight or flee for safety?, how long can we stand on the defensive side with no weapons to combat the sophisticated weapons of the Russian? What would be the response of our president, stand on his word or agree to the terms given by the Russians? A lot of thoughts are just flooding my mind. Russian versus Nigeria can be described as a battle between a Lion and an ant judging from how much they invest in their military and the kind of weapons they use. Let's shift our attention away from Russia and Nigeria and focus on war. What if there was war in Nigeria?.
If there was a war in Nigeria, it's not something we pray for, but what if?, The truth is I can't stand to fight, I didn't go to any military training, I wasn't born a military, I can't handle a weapon, I can't imagine taking someone's life, I will just keep running and not looking back until I get somewhere safe enough to assure me of life. That's what most people do-run. While others are forced to join the force fighting- I Know my right, and I will choose to say No to forceful acts. With how poor our country is in their military equipment, I doubt if we would last 3 days before the country invading makes us extinct. I doubt if our military is equipped enough to fight war between any country even though people who are assuming positions brag about things we do not see. At first the war may be instigated by the president and his cabinet that only knows how to stare up war with the words of their mouth, but would be the first to flee at the sight of danger leaving the citizens to defend themselves, that's the kind of leaders we have.
No doubt, our president would compromise in a short time to end the war when it becomes a pressure on Nigerians. The president may seem tough on the outside but he is so soft to the threat of other nations to Nigeria. Currently, Nigeria is not ready for any war, and it would take a very long time for them to be ready for any kind of war looking at the current state of the military and how much they budget into the military yearly, we don't pray for war and would never pray for one, but Nigeria is not building any form of defence or preparing itself for the future with the low budget they still put into military and the kind of equipment the force men still use. My next action in a war scenario is to flee into hiding, probably to a country sharing a boundary to ensure I don't become a victim of the fight of two nations who can't come to a treaty.
