In the little time I have been opportune to work and make money for myself, I have discovered that building wealth is all about developing value. I have seen civil servants work and end up depending on pension when they retire, I have also seen men do 9 to 5 jobs and always end up spending on expenses. I have also had to take on 9 to 5 jobs just so I could survive even though it's not what I wanted to do. I would always prefer working as a professional in my skill of choice than doing some random jobs just to cover expenses. However I have learned from my experience that in other to achieve my dream of financial freedom, I would need to first learn a skill, develop the skill and then sell the skill. Knowing how much people are ready to pay for value, I choose to take time out to develop my value capacity through skill building, this will mean I would have to go beyond learning my career-related courses, I will have to learn business and people relations (it's how I choose to put it)
I discovered my love for advertising and business development in my third year in school, and since then I have given myself to learning every single skill that points in that direction. I started out with digital marketing, which introduced me to learning social media management and graphic design. But before then I was already into videography so I knew the knowledge I got from that skill wouldn't be a waste. So far it's not been an easy road, four years down the line, but I can say I have built myself in acquiring so many skills, many don't understand why I didn't just stick to one skill and grow in it, some feel I'm being a jack of all trades and master of none, but then I know it's me building myself and value system to one day run a successful advertising agency of my own with the goal of helping businesses grow strategically in not just sales but also management.

I understand the road I am taking is really long as I still have two more courses to learn which are business management and web development... I've just started the web development course, so I can say it's just business management for me. But then I also know trusting the process is the only way I can generate wealth consistently.
Businesses rise and fall every day, and I have an idea that I think will make businesses last the test of time, but my ideas need certain skills to function which I have acquired most. From Content Writing to Copywriting, sales writing, videography, photography, graphics design, social media management, and digital marketing.
After acquiring the remaining two skills, I will start out by getting a business to work on. Now, remember I'm still building value, so I will majorly focus on businesses around me, from family and friends who wouldn't have to pay me at the beginning but in the due cause of seeing the value I have added, would decide if they want me to continue growing their business as I wouldn't be doing it for free for long. For now, I'll leave the imaginary benefits and just focus on building my value system. Probably along the line, I might change strategy, but then it's all for one goal.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today, until next time.
