I joined the hive platform with virtually nothing and since i joined i have never taken it for granted, i have always tried to make my post top notch with good quality, this platform has really broaden and enlarged my thinking faculty...
While writing, i take note of two important factors which i have to think about while making my post for the day, what are those two important factors???
- MY AUDIENCE : This is one of the most important factor to all WRITTERS, you have to think of them because they are the readers and the consumers of my post, i have to consider them always, i have to carry them along every bits and piece of my write up..
Their remarks will determine my progress and and level of creativity that is why i make them enjoy my writing with bits of love, drama, jokes and most importantly emotions and feelings so that they can feel what i felt while writing on that very topic...
- MY MOTIVATION: This is very important to me, to make a quality post, i have to feel motivated, if i am not motivated, then my post quality will be reduced and that is why i try to work in a cool and calm environment....
When i am not motivated to work, i sit down see movies that at the end serves as my inspiration and motivates me to write on and from there it just keeps flowing..
My motivation matters a lot for me and that is why i need to be motivated to write a quality post...
You must be wondering why all this info above, i wrote this to remind myself of my goals and things I have to always do to ensure my rapid growth in this platform, every new month, i sit down to calculate and check if i am still working in that goal..
I check where i am lacking and what needs to be added to make me achieve my HIVE GOALS AND AIMS..
In reply to the prompt of the week's question; my hive goals for now is just two things and they include :
- INCREASING MY HIVE POWER..
- INCREASING MY FOLLOWERS...
Oh yeah for now, this are my most important aims and Gradually when I feel I have achieved all this, I can now think of more goals..
This is a very important question and now you can think of why I started with those points above, it is to make you understand how well I plan on achieving this goals of mine...
INCREASING MY HIVE POWER
This is very important at the moment and stage of my hive life, hive power is required to perform almost all activities and transactions on the platform...
To increase my hive power, I have made up my mind to do these things and with thorough guidance, my hive power will increasing gradually..
I have given two above, those two points above will help me increase my hive power because;
- when I write a top quality post and drop in the appropriate community, my audience will read and give me an upvote and also leave a comment and from continuous reading and upvote, my upvotes will increase and at the end of seven days when my post pays out my hive power will increase gradually..
- My motivation will lead me to write beautifully and writing top notch, my audience will be happy to give me an upvote and also a comment which is as a result of getting the wright motivation for the wright topic..
- Community: this factor matters a lot to get votes and comments, you have to know what post fits into a community because on this platform we have different communities for different topic posts and it is only when you follow the community and observe them you know what post you drop in their community and doing that will get more views and votes from those who love it but if you drop a wrong post in a community then that post is bound to go down because you didn't follow the rules and that is why you have to be careful of the community you drop your posts in..
No matter how much quality it has, dropping in the wrong community will warrant downvote which at the end of the day will burn to loosing your reward for the post....
- Participating in contests: This is also one important factor to increase your HP, you have to participate in contest of some communities and then following all rules will get your post curated by the community and then you get bigger votes for writing a top notch post making sure that your post earns well enough to give you adequate HP...
INCREASING MY FOLLOWERS
This is a natural occurrence, when you make top quality posts and also drops in the appropriate community, readers will read and when they love your write up, they will be happy to follow you and make sure they get more from where that comes from ...
So to increase my followers, I have to be conscious of what I post, where I post it in, what the post entails and then my followers will increase gradually as a result of my good post and in no time my followers will increase and then there will be anticipation from them regarding my next write up all because of quality..
WHAT ARE MY STRATEGIES, WHAT ARE THE LIKELY CHALLENGES TO FACE AND IT'S SOLUTION
AUDIENCE IS MY STRATEGY: My strategy is something everyone knows, and that is working along with my audience, when I carry them along well and dish out quality post, then I will get what I want and then everything will increase gradually and unfailingly...
Yes its natural to face problems while trying to accomplish a goal and there will always be a way out and surely you have to discover that yourself, the likely Challenges I will have and it is also most challenges of writters include:
- Writers block: This is a scenario where by you brain is locked up and you aren't able to write down anything until you have enough rest or sleep, countless number of times I have experienced writers block and it only goes away when I sleep or watch movies and then I get motivated to write and then I overcome my block...
It is a natural problem but you have discover the method that works well with yours and you will overcome it...
- Not getting adequate vote: It's Normal to net get good votes all the time and it all burns down to either your post lacks quality or feelings or something is just missing or the community you are posting in doesn't have good number of followers to view your posts or you have been muted from that community for breaking a rule then it's sure you don't get upvotes and then your post becomes dormant..
You just have to know the topic that fits each community and follow all rules with quality then you are good to go...
Those are the problems I think I might face as a writer and I also laid out the solutions to them.
In summary, this write up is a watch post to achieving my goals and aims on the hive platform and it is only when I have good followers and beautiful HP that is when I can think of creating my own community and then as a result of my quality posts members will join freely..
In conclusion, I have set goal for the month of August and I am working day and night to make it happen, the reward of hardwork is sweet and delicious...
