Nigerian electoral processes for as long as i remember has been something that is very pitiful, since i knew what election is and how it's being conducted. Carefully observing what a free and fair election is all about, bringing that knowledge to what i have seen in the electorql process in Nigeria i shed tears.
- Electoral process in Nigeria is being rigged to the barest minimum. We're youths, bandits , hoodlums and cult groups are being bribed to steal the ballot boxes and vote in the candidate of whom might have paid them to carry out such activities.
This isn't a new thing in Nigeria as i believe adult in Nigeria has witnessed this themselves, some people even collect bribes to vote for against there choice.
With that experience and looking at the current situation coupled with bad governance in Nigeria.
They always tell us that youths are the leaders of tomorrow but it has been the same old men ruling this country since i was born till this very minute.
MY THOUGHTS
Already many political parties has alot of aspirants vying for different offices.
So firstly i think there should be a free and fair election come 2023, security agencies should be at alert to provide security.
Each political party should not have morethan one candidate for each office they are vying for, unlike APC that has up 10 or more contestants for the presidential stool.
I think we should be able to migrate our votes electronically, where there won be need for ballot boxes and unnecessary crowd, making the electrical process easy where anyone can vote fron there homes without the stress of going out to stand under the sun for someone that won't remember to work people who put him or her in that particular sit.
Everyone should get there PVC and be ready to vote in there favourable candidate and bear in mind that whatever choices we make is for the next four years and the future of the country.
Let's come together and make Nigeria a better place, our vote is our right. Don't allow anyone buy your vote, because you sell your conscience when you sell your vote.
