Desde Santa Cruz de Aragua, en Venezuela, participo con mucho ánimo en esta semana 150. La temática es "Nuestra virtud", seleccionada por los artistas destacados @musicandreview. Las virtudes son todos esos rasgos de nuestra personalidad que tienden hacia lo noble, hacia lo bueno, hacia lo positivo. Son ese potencial maravilloso que hay dentro de cada uno que si permitimos que aflore solo produce bienestar.
Si interactuáramos todos siempre desde nuestras virtudes, el mundo sería un lugar totalmente diferente a lo que es.
Si no nos dejáramos llevar por las bajezas sino por lo que tiende hacia lo Alto, hacia lo virtuoso "otro gallo cantaría", como decimos en Venezuela.
En esta semana traigo un cover de una canción que fuera popularizada por la inolvidable Selena Quintanilla, "La Reina de la Música Tejana", quien partió tragicamente, en plena juventud, por una manifestación violenta de una bajeza del ser humano, víctima de un crimen injusto -como todos los crímenes-.
Ojalá algún dia aprendamos a tender siempre hacia lo bueno , lo perfecto y lo vituoso, para evitar este tipo de sucesos.
From Santa Cruz de Aragua, in Venezuela, I am participating with great enthusiasm in this week 150. The theme is "Our virtue", selected by the Spotlight Artists @musicandreview. The virtues are all those traits of our personality that tend towards the noble, towards the good, towards the positive. They are that wonderful potential that is within each one that if we allow it to emerge it only produces well-being.
If we all always interacted from our virtues, the world would be a totally different place than it is.
If we did not let ourselves be carried away by baseness but by what tends towards the High, towards the virtuous "another rooster would crow", as we say in Venezuela.
This week I bring a cover of a song that was popularized by the unforgettable Selena Quintanilla, "The Queen of Tejano Music", who tragically left, in full youth, due to a violent manifestation of the baseness of the human being, victim of an unjust crime -like all crimes-.
Hopefully one day we will learn to always tend towards the good, the perfect and the virtuous, to avoid this type of event.
