Hello everyone

Welcome to Hive Open Mic week 152..

This week's theme is Traditional music and In my own opinion it is a Prompt to do something traditional, So I will be singing an Highlife Nigerian song titled Tari.

The song speaks about God's boundless and unconditional love and the word Tari is an Ijaw word which means love.

God's love is a divine love that is unfathomable to humans and is freely given to each and every one of us.

It is a love that wants to lead people towards peace, goodness, and righteousness and is patient, forgiving, and compassionate.

Jesus Christ, who is regarded as the personification of God's compassion and mercy, is another way that God's love is revealed.

I firmly believe that God sent his one and only son to die on the cross in order to atone for my sins and grant me access to eternal life. This offering is viewed as the pinnacle of God's love for people.

I choose this song because it is a Highlife song, which is a common musical genre in my culture, it was also sang in my dialect too, along side pidgin(Nigerian English) which makes it very traditional.

I agree with your interpretation 0f this great song Beni. Indeed God’s love is unfathomable and unconditional. For Christ to die for us is enough proof of that love and He continues to wait for us and help us in our situations of life despite our failings.
