Hive Open Mic Week 110, Musical Embrace. Bass Cover of Fvck You by Kizz Daniel

Hello everyone, happy weekend. I believe y'all had a blissful week.

This week, one of the musician I respect so much, @eugelys birthed a fantastic theme which made me understand that music embraces all aspects of life, whether good or bad.

I was thinking of a song to to relate the theme and then "Fvck You" by Kizz Daniel, a Nigerian artist, hopped into my mind. The song is an expression of pain by the singer as a result of the fact that all the loyalty he trusted to his girlfriend was sent to trenches by his girlfriend. The girlfriend was believed to begin to be bent over by some rich guy she came across with.

This is to say that music embraces heart break in a way we can't even imagine, infact we breathe music because it has a way of rejuvenating our swaying hope.

Excellent, I didn't know that song. I had only heard Buga and Lie. I like those afrobeats and a bit of dancehall in his songs.

Buga is Kizz Daniel's most recent song and it has really been a milestone to a much wider audience for him because a lot of persons love the song. Fvck You is a song he released about 4 or 5 years ago, and you know good music will always sound good no matter how long.

I confess that watching you play made me want to learn to play bass guitar hahaha.... I love reggae and the bass for me represents a fundamental piece but I think it's very difficult haha.
