This song has been one of my greatest inspiration, it expresses the fact Jesus never lies and what God cannot do doesn't exist. My love for this song knows no bound.
The term "Capable God" refers to a divine being whose love, power and wisdom supercedes all human understanding. This God is omnipotent in creation and sustenance, he is not a merely observer but an active participant in the essence of being, ready to intercede, protect and transform lives.
Anytime I sing this song for my father he gets motivated and relieved of some heavy burdens because of the knowledge that God is a capable God that doesn't fail neither does he lie.
The song praises God for his faithfulness and his ability to accomplish all things.
