Saludo a todos los integrantes de esta bella comunidad. Me gustó mucho la temática de esta semana, seleccionada por nuestra Artista Destacada @elioe. Ella propone que interpretemos canciones que se centren en la unión, la cual es fundamental para el buen logro de las cosas.
Donde hay divisiones hay debilidad, donde hay unión hay también fortaleza.
Ustedes deben conocer el viejo cuento de los hermanitos que se peleaban mucho entre sí y un día su padre les llamó, les hizo sentar y le entregó a uno una delgada varilla de madera, le pidió que la rompiera y el niño la quebró con facilidad. Luego el padre tomó varias varillas de madera iguales en cuanto a grosor y tamaño a las que el niño había roto, las unió atándolas con una cuerda y le pidió nuevamente que las rompiera. A pesar de sus esfuerzos, el niño no lo logró y el padre les dijo que cada una de esas varillas los representaba a cada uno de ellos y que vieran lo débiles que eran como individuos y lo fuertes que los hacía la unión.
Termina el cuento diciendo que los niños aprendieron la lección, abandonaron las disensiones y fueron unos hermanos muy unidos, siendo ejemplo de solidaridad y apoyo mutuo y esta unión los llevó al éxito.
La canción "Unidos", que traigo para ustedes, no es nueva. La interpretó José Luis Rodriguez "El Puma", en sus inicios como solista, cuando dejó de cantar en la orquesta "La Billo's".
En esa época yo era adolescente y estaba fascinada con José Luis Rodriguez. Me alegra mucho tener la oportunidad de compartir un tema suyo. Tiene un mensaje muy bello porque nos habla hasta de la unión que encontramos en la Naturaleza.

Greetings to all members of this beautiful community. I really liked this week's theme, selected by our Featured Artist @elioe. She proposes that we interpret songs that focus on the union, which is fundamental for the good achievement of things.

You must know the old story of the little brothers who fought a lot with each other and one day their father called them, made them sit down and gave one of them a thin wooden rod, he asked him to break it and the boy broke it easily. Then the father took several wooden rods equal in thickness and size to those that the boy had broken, tied them together with a rope and asked him again to break them. Despite their efforts, the boy did not make it and the father told them that each of these rods represented each of them and to see how weak they were as individuals and how strong the union made them.
The story ends by saying that the children learned their lesson, abandoned their dissensions and were very close brothers, being an example of solidarity and mutual support and this union led them to success.
