Hello dear friends and lovers of hive open mic, it's another week on hive open mic, and this is my entry this week.
First of all I would like to appreciate @ovey10, @emreal and @hillelbm for being supportive till this point and always being there to encourage and direct me. I say a big thank you. At first I didn't want to make any entry this week on hive open mic because I didn't know any song that talks about freedom. I was really not sure of what to sing.I even had to go online to search for songs relating to freedom that I could sing but All I got was old songs that I've never even heard before.
Not until I heard a song playing in my neighbor's apartment "jailer" then I remembered that it used to be my favorite song some years back. I love the song so much that I could sing it all day.
I'll be doing a song cover by ASA titled JAILER. The song talks about personal freedom, captivity and self discovery.its trying to make us understand the equality of humanity.it talks about breaking free from captivity, from every hold.it could be freedom from addiction,it could be freedom from emotions weighing you down.
Being free is indeed the ultimate. I'm so captivated by the lyrics of the song, it has a deep meaning and it's a song that is addressing different freedom.so think, look around you and know what you should Break free from.
