Hello brothers and sisters, We are IndonesiaBersatu, a Punk Rock band from Medan, Indonesia. We are here again to entertain you and also share the music video that we played in the Hive #OpenMic community which has entered its 135th week. So, this week's theme is "Fight Oppression" which we chose as the spotlight artist. Even though at that time I gave the theme, we haven't prepared any song until yesterday. On this theme, we performed the original song entitled “Kami Melawan” in English “We Fight”.
This song was written by myself on that very day. This song is so simple and only uses three basic chords. I dedicate this song that I wrote to the ruffians who like to oppress, intimidate, exploit, and rob human rights. I convey through this song that we are here to fight them. We will not back down and continue to speak through the tones and voices we shout against all forms of oppression.
As we all know, bullying can happen at all levels and ages. Oppression often occurs when power has been abused so that injustice is felt by society or others. In many countries, we still find many acts of racism, and sexism, in the persecution of adherents of certain religions.
Many people who are victims of oppression choose to remain silent because they are afraid that the actions of the oppressors will be more brutal. As a result, victims of protracted bullying experience bad mental health such as stress, anxiety, sadness, depression, and many other things. Even so, we and our friends will not stand still. We continue to fight and struggle until oppression is destroyed on earth.

The place where we recorded this video is in a music studio owned by our friend named Mita which is located on Jl. Setia Budi, Medan City. This video was taken using a mirrorless camera and using the editing stage through Adobe Audition cc and Adobe Premiere Pro cc. That's all we can say, hope you like it and thank you.
