Hello beautiful people of hive. It is nice to start my journey here in this community. This is my first time joining the Hive weekly concert. Since I am new here I read a lot of post and watch some singers and artist who joined here. And since I love singing (even if the song don't love me, sometimes🤣), I want to share to you the talent that God has given to me.
By the way, I join this community because my friend ate @zbabe she was the one who introduced me this platform and decided that I should join in this community because she knows I love singing. And here I am trying my best. Hoping that you will like the song I will sing. So, I want to share to you the song that relates the theme.
For this Hive Open Mic week #123 the is theme is all about "A Better World for All". After reflecting on the theme, I have thought a lot of songs that can fit perfectly to the theme. In the end, I chose "One day" by Matisyahu. I kinda like this song because I love reggae songs when I was in my high school days. It is empowering, beautiful, candid and filled with purpose. It reminded me on my good old days as a high school girl living a carefree world.
I chose this song because it is reminding me that old self that I use to lived got some baggy pants and shirts. Living the life with no stress. It also reminds me of the world with less harm and no chaos.
And I also chose this song because it is a heartfelt song about the beauty of the world. “One Day” is an anthem promoting world peace and unity. In this song, it talks about how the world is a beautiful places and a hope to explore it one day without chaos. These song is a reminder that there is much beauty in the world that we often take it for granted. It's a song that inspires us to appreciate the world around us and to make the most of it everyday with peace and love.
So, I dedicate this song to all the people living around the world. That they may find peace in their selves and the people around them. And I want to thank this community for reminding not just me but all the people here that living in a better world is a profound level.
