Hive Openmic Week #112_// A Traditional Song Title: Oyeme Yesu Oyeme (Teach me Oh Lord Teach me)
In my perspective this lifestyle of a lot of different languages and ethnicities also contribute to some of the problems we are facing in the country because people are showing a lot of language differences and making things difficult for the poor man. You will find out someone in a capacity to help a set of individuals, will want to help specifically the people from His or her tribe because he or she feels they speak the same language and it makes them brothers and sisters and deserve to be favored by them most. The big question is what about the other languages, aren't they brothers and sisters? And this habit is mostly found in people that are found in diverse positions to help the less privilege that are fun of doing that.
I don't really know if those countrys that speaks only a language face this kind of problems I guess maybe yes but in a different way not like this.
In my ethnic group (The Eggons) a lot of people are afraid to marry from my Tribe considering the traditional rights you have to perform before marrying from my Tribe. You will provide fifteen heavy basins of cooked big beans mixed with black beni-seed which causes alot of money and that's not all as there are several more items you will provide which the challenge of time and space won't allow me list them all here.
I hope I was able to share some light with you about my Tribe with some of my traditional believes.
