I bring to you special season's greetings. This is raining season and we thank God for the transition from heat to cold. Welcome to Hive Open Mic week 221 and to my blog. I am your friend mamab and I am so excited to participate in this week's edition.
I will be presenting the cover of a song in line with the theme "desire". Special recognition goes to @g2comfort for the beautiful choice. The song I am singing is titled "My desire". It is one of the anthems we used to sing a number of years ago when I was still functional in the girl's fellowship of our church, so I can't really say who composed it. I decided to use guitar for the first time on hive open mic. I am known for playing the keyboard here, I hope to learn how to play guitar better too.
When we talk of desire, I believe we are talking about interest or a heart yearning. Everyone has what their heart yearns for. It can be money, love, marriage, children, career, just to mention a few. In this song, I am expressing my desire which is to work in the will of the Lord. I want to observe His ways so that all I do can be pleasing to Him. I wrote down the lyrics myself. Let's sing together.
