Hi guys, nice to meet you again. This week I'm sure we're all doing well, even though there are many problems we have to face because it's part of life.
This time the theme of the Hive open mic is very challenging, which is "High School". Actually it's a bit difficult to decide which song I'm going to choose, but my choice fell on one of the songs from the legendary punk rock band the Ramones.
To enter this week's competition, I chose a song called "Rock n Roll High School" by Ramones, a little conclusion about this song, This song was released in 1979 as part of the album also titled Rock 'n' Roll High School, which was the soundtrack to the film of the same name. The lyrics are quite simple and straight to the point, describing the spirit of young people who want to be free and enjoy life without being limited by existing rules. Ramones are known for their fast, direct, and energetic musical style, and that is clearly reflected in this song. This song also became a kind of anthem for the generation that grew up in the punk rock era and for those who felt they did not fit in with existing social norms. This song describes the spirit of rebellion that is always present in rock and punk music.
