Happy and blessed week, friends of Hive Open Mic! We are already in week 169 of this wonderful musical event. For this edition we are dealing with a very delicate theme such as "War".
On this topic, today I would like to present a cover of the song War Child by the Irish alternative rock band The Cranberries, from the album To the Faithful Departed, released in 2002.
This song is intended to lead us to reflect on all those children who have suffered and continue to suffer today the calamities of war and armed conflicts. The fact of being in constant anxiety and fear for life, not only leaves physical but also psychological scars that are difficult to overcome.
The video was edited with the apps. Capcut and Movavi. I hope you like it.
Capcut y Movavi. Espero que sea de su agrado.
War Child
Who controls the key?
The web we weave is thick and sordid
Fine by me
There's no victory
We shoot to kill and kill your lover
Fine by me
Plant the seed, territorial greed
Mind the warchild, we should mind the warchild
Plant the seed, territorial greed
Mind the warchild, we should mind the warchild
Who is the loser now?
We're all the losers now
We're all the losers now
