Hello everyone, #openmic I’m @samuelstifen, and welcome back to my humble channel. During my participation, I’ve felt happy and proud to be part of this event. This is a truly beautiful and extraordinary event that gives us many connections and broadens our minds to express opinions based on the themes given each week. I’ve also learned a lot about music, editing, and much more, and I’m delighted to be part of this community. I hope my performance leaves a beautiful impression on everyone watching.
Hive Open Mic Week 243 carries the theme "December." This theme is fantastic, and it marks the start of a new week in December. Perhaps last year, I had the chance to select the theme for December, and I hope this year's theme brings us happiness and is even better than the previous month. December is indeed a beautiful month—a month I always look forward to as we anticipate Christmas. Unfortunately, I must stay strong and face it alone, as I don’t have someone to celebrate Christmas with. It’s quite sad, haha, but that’s okay. Maybe this month, I’ll enjoy and embrace it on my own.
For Hive Open Mic Week 243, I’m performing an original song that I wrote to express my feelings in December. This song tells my story of a relationship where I haven’t communicated or met my ex for a long time. I hope December becomes a beautiful month where we can meet and spend time together to welcome Christmas. I hope everyone enjoys this song that I’ve written. I decided to go with a reggae music style for this piece because I wanted to try something new with beautiful music, even though the lyrics are sad. No matter what music or lyrics we create, we can always find joy in them.
