Hi beautiful people!
It's your girl @sessy, and I'm super excited to be here once again as always.
Our theme for this week is POESIA which means Peotry/Poem in English.
I love this theme in particular because I'm a lover of poetry.
A poetry is an act, it is a rhythmic composition, that can be written or spoken, for exciting pleasure by beautiful, imaginative, or elevated thoughts. It is a curation of emotions/feelings expressed in a creative way
And that's why i decided to sing a song by Shania Twain titled
You're still the one
I love the fact that Shania adds a little bit of Poetry as intro in her songs, the words spoken in the beginning of her songs are collections of emotions written and spoken to pass a beautiful message to the beloved.
You're still the one is a beautiful love song filled with emotions and anyone who's in love can relate to it.
And as we all probably know, poetry is a type of literature typically written in verses that uses figurative language, a language that can have different meanings from what is literally said, to give multiple shades of meaning to a word or a phrase.
When you miss someone, rather than just say I miss you, in poetry we'd say:
Without you there is a hollow space inside me that will never be filled.
And when you want to say "i still love you" in a simple term, in poetry you'd say:
I cannot find a way to untangle my heart from yours.
And so on...
Poetry evokes a concentrated imaginative awareness of experience or a specific emotional response through a well carefully arranged words chosen for a more defined meaning, sound, and rhythm.
