Hello hive open mic family and all music lovers world wide, I'm happy to bring to you guys again my entry for the hive open mic week #164 with the theme "hopeful" which was chosen by our recent spotlight artist @jmis101... a big kudos to you dear for this wonderful theme.
I'll be presenting a song titled "onishe iyanu" by Nathaniel Bassey.
Being hopeful means to have expectation or belief that something wised for can or will happen. It also means being optimistic, i.e expecting the best in all possible ways.
Being hopeful means to be expectatant, or to believe that something that's not going in the right direction will work out for good.
For instance our dear country (Nigeria) ever since the days of our fore fathers we've being hearing Nigeria will be better but up till now it's still not showing any sign that it will get better. But then we keep the hope alive, we have the believe that one day, we'll enjoy the Nigeria we dream of having and even those abroad will plan to come home and enjoy their country because it will almost be the same compared to what they're enjoying over there.
Moreso, personally it's good to be hopeful, optimistic and positive, that will make one attain his or her goals in no time.
I hope you all will enjoy my little presentation, Blessings. 🥰
SONG LYRICS
Onise Iyanu
You are the God of awesome wonders
I've tasted of your power
Onise Iyanu
You have shown me so much mercy
Much more than I deserve
My eyes have seen, my ears have heard
The wonders of your praise
Creation bows in awe of you
And we join to give you praise
The words you speak turns things around
Your outstretched arm
Has lifted me
You took away the chains and colts
That held me bound
