I am pleased to share my trumpet performance of «Sad Brothers», a work of contemporary classical music by Japanese composer Seiji Yokoyama. I'm sure you remember her from the anime Saint Seiya, also known as Knights of the Zodiac. The most emblematic singer is Kazuko Kawashima, her lyrical and emotional voice are wonderful. The piece has a formal structure similar to a sonata or ternary form. The melody is lyrical and expressive, with dissonant intervals that generate a feeling of tension and sadness. The rhythm is moderate or slow, depending on the occasion. In anime it is usually heard in reflective and lonely scenes of the protagonists, when they were training, and when they lost a loved one. When I was a child it was a sacred hour, my brother and I would run outside, and no one would move us from the television.

Since I was young, I have always been fascinated by Greek and Roman astronomy and mythology. The constellations, with their stories, have guided mankind for centuries, especially on their sea voyages. Today, my perspective on the stars and the universe has evolved. For me, they are a tangible testimony to the existence of God, the creator of all that exists. His greatness and wisdom are manifested in the complexity and beauty of the cosmos. Nothing in the universe is the result of chance or a fortuitous event; everything has been designed with a purpose. The cosmos is so vast and infinite that, for now, it escapes our full understanding, as does the subatomic world. The mysteries of celestial movements and the behavior of the smallest particles remind us of the immensity of the universe and the limitation of our knowledge.

Desde joven, la astronomía y la mitología griega y romana siempre me han fascinado. Las constelaciones, con sus historias, han guiado a la humanidad durante siglos, especialmente en sus travesías marítimas. Hoy en día, mi perspectiva sobre las estrellas y el universo ha evolucionado. Para mí, son un testimonio tangible de la existencia de Dios, el creador de todo lo que existe. Su grandeza y sabiduría se manifiestan en la complejidad y belleza del cosmos. Nada en el universo es fruto del azar o de un evento fortuito; todo ha sido diseñado con un propósito.
