Introduction.
Good morning family and friends, am happy to be of this community. My name is Iboko Ikechukwu Onassis. I was born at Igbere in Bende Local Government of Abia State, Nigeria. I am the eighth in line of nine births. I grew up in a hard life, having lost both parents during the Nigerian-Biafran civil war.
Education.
My early years were as rough as they can come. I attended St Michael's primary Umuahia, before transferring to St.Stephen's Anglican primary Umuahia. Down the road fortune smiled on me and l traveled to Lagos, Nigeria, where I stayed with an uncle till I completed my O level at Araromi Secondary school, Sari-Iganmu in 1990. It was a turning point in my life.
Later on, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Abia State University,Uturu, Nigeria in 2004.
Career.
I joined the Federal Civil service in 1996 and was posted to Aba. I am an Administrative Officer with Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology. My two older brothers are business men, one in Nigeria, one abroad. While, my younger brother (the last child)is dead. All my sisters were born before us, the boys (now men).
Family Life.
After I Joined the Federal Civil service in 11996, I contined to live alone and enjoy my bachelorhood till 2011when I met one Miss Nkechi. We fist started as friends. Later on, we started dating and agreed to marry.
We got married in 2011 this beautiful union have been blessed with three children. Below is a picture of my Children.
How I Came To Know About Hive.
I came to know about Hive through one of my young friends, who is a fashion designer. I do frequent his shop to chat with other mutual friends and sometimes to charge my phone.This is a different culture, sometimes it is a herculean to charge one's phone username is @uzoma24.
One day, I was at his shop and called him on phone. He told me that he stepped out but he is already on his way back to the shop so I decided to wait.
On arrival, he was so excited and told me that he was just coming from a shopping, where he got a cashback.
He encouraged me to join and I obliged. We agreed to go together next time their group were to shop.band that day is today. I was profiled on hive and tutured on lots of things. Honestly, am glad to be here.
Todays Shopping Experience.
I was at home relaxing at about 7am, when my phone rang and it @uzoma24 was on the other end inviting me to today's event . He told me to prepare because we will go to the training center by 10am. I was glad, because today seems to be one of my luckiest days, I was about to buy and pay with HBD.
At about 10am, we met up at his shop amd we went ahed to the trainingbcenter where we met with @fokusnow, @brainbrain, @rocycefx, @ugoglory and @victoryspeeed.
We had a brief introduction and the newbies (which am one of) were given the basic orientation. Soon after we proceeded to a shop where we all bought groceries and paid with HBD.
Honestly, I didn't know this kind of thing is in existence,let alone being possible here in the city of Aba. Bellow are some of the pictures I took today with my new friends.
Conclusion.
Am glad to have spent a great part of my day with very vibrant and young promising men.
