Let me reintroduce myself: Here I am, Lluna—Miss Capricorn on the cusp of Aquarius, a perfectionist even in her sleep. ✨
I haven't been writing much lately, and there's a reason for that… I still haven’t shared my experience at HIVEFEST 2024 in Split. Now, you might be wondering—why?
Well… I tend to put immense pressure on myself, and honestly, the community sets such a high standard for content that I kept hesitating. I didn’t feel ready to share my experiences, fearing they wouldn’t measure up o.O
But my dear friends, that stops now. I won’t let perfectionism hold me back any longer or keep me from this amazing community. I believe in Hive and its potential, and I want to be an active part of it. Even if it’s just a small drop in the ocean, I want to keep showing up.

I also thought—wouldn't it be lovely to relive those beautiful days together? A little trip down memory lane can be quite refreshing. 😉
The Journey 🚗
I wish I could say the trip was easy, but from the north of Poland to Split, Croatia… well, it took about one night and one and a half (if my memory serves me right).
Everything was smooth sailing—we had a great overnight stop in a small town and an unforgettable dinner at what I’d call the best restaurant in Slovenia! (Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find the name of the place on my phone. 😅)
I found a couple of photos! Me with all the food and Mazin with a lil soup :P
But then… just three hours before reaching Split, at around 10:30 PM, after nearly 12 hours of driving, disaster struck. A flat tire.
I was behind the wheel when it happened, and I have to give my deepest thanks to @growandbow, who patiently guided me through the whole situation. It was a hectic and fast-moving road, but miraculously, at that exact moment, there were no cars passing by. Although the car swayed from left to right, we managed to pull over safely without incident.
Funny number lover and here is where he had the setback.
Exhausted, we had to wait for roadside assistance and we probably went to bed at 5 instead of 2 as we wished.
The funniest part of all of it is that we had a spare tire… but no tools to change it. 🙃
Whatever the case, I’m just grateful we arrived safely in Split.

Split: First Impressions 🌊
What a gorgeous town—it reminded me so much of Barcelona. I still recall walking its charming streets and, of course, having our first swim in the sea.
But the biggest surprise? The weather. It was COLD and DARK. Not exactly the sun-soaked paradise I had imagined for a southern getaway.

Finally, the moment came—I encountered the Hive community. The first person I met was @honeydue, and we instantly connected, chatting for hours. One by one, more beautiful Hivians passed by our table, sharing stories, laughter, and memories.

Being my first HiveFest, I had no idea what to expect, but the talks blew me away. They were engaging, inspiring, and deeply insightful.
The venues were stunning, and the topics covered everything—from technical advancements to the challenges the project is constantly working on.

What moved me the most? The incredible social projects made possible by creatives coming together, using their talents to uplift communities across the globe. 🌍

We had SO much fun! I wish I could list every single person I met, but let’s just say—those days were unforgettable.

From the luxurious restaurant with exquisite food and live music, to our billiard day (who knew I’d enjoy that game so much?), to long walks through the city, refreshing swims, deep conversations, cozy cafés… every moment felt meant to be.

Personal sharing...
Those days, I was dealing with a lot of emotional stress, and meeting so many new people wasn’t easy. But looking back, all I remember are the heartwarming interactions, the unspoken connections, and the beauty of simply being present with one another.
Last detail!
These photos are with a gorgeous Canadian couple that we met at -what I would say: Hivians favourite beer bar Leopolds Craft Beer Bar.
That bought a painting of my "1000 paintings to my wedding day project"
