What went wrong with Silver Mamma Chef these past few days hey?
My word!...one would think she's loosing her marbles.

First of all, she went to the Super Market to buy flour to bake her bread as she usually does on a Friday, when coming out of the store, she totally forgot where she had parked her car. After walking around the parking lot for half an hour, she was relieved to have found it parked next to a huge truck hiding it from view.
It didn't end there, on returning home, Silver Mamma Chef unpacked her shopping bags, putting the items away in their rightful places in the cupboard, filling up the flour container with the flour she had bought.
She gathered the necessary utensils to make bread and mixed the ingredients together like she normally does and put the bowl of dough in a warm place to rise.
Silver Mamma Chef went about her daily chores, checking on her dough after about an hour or so.
Oh dear!...it's not rising...wondering what the problem is...Oh f#$%*!?k she forgot to add the yeast...what a dork.
Oh well...another marble just rolled out of her bag, nowhere to be found.
That wasn't all I might add.....she accidently put the flour into the mielie meal container, mixing mielie meal and flour together...Mmm, Silver Mamma Chef is truly loosing her marbles.
She thought she would take a break and make a cup of tea for herself and Pappa Chef. Omg...she couldn't find the sugar jar....yes, Silver Mamma Chef wasn't having a good day at all.
Well!...look where she found it...Lol!
Yip!...in the fridge.
What on earth is going on with Silver Mamma Chef...is she going senile? Nah!...I think her brain is working over time, she's definitely on another planet these last few days.
It happens sometimes when one's mind is in overload with everyone else's problems, worrying about their well being in this crazy world we're in.
I know she's been a little distracted lately and worried about talk of more nation wide protests and chaos around South Africa.
She's very concerned for the safety of her grand-children and their parents in this beautiful Country of hers, the whole world seems to be in a turmoil and the future looks a little dark.
"Come now girl...before you sink into doom and gloom...shine a little light in the darkness and keep on going...things aren't as bad as you think", reassuring herself.
When Silver Mamma Chef said she was going to make Spaghetti Bolognaise for dinner, I thought it would take her mind off things a bit as she was getting a little too flustered, I mean, as the day progressed and things just not working out the way she planned it, one can't blame her, she had already lost a few marbles.
Well...when she boiled the Macaroni instead of the Spaghetti, she didn't look to concerned, she accepted it with a smile...what else could go wrong...actually...it was getting hilarious as the day went on.
It seemed the universe was having a fun day with her.
It was when she opened the can of bake beans instead of the tomato puree, she started to panic...she even asked Pappa Chef if he'd noticed anything odd about her behavior lately, Pappa Chef reassured her that she was only imagining things, that she's been under a bit of stress the past few weeks and that she needs to relax and stop worrying about the kids, they'll all be just fine.
Is Silver Mamma Chef going senile? She felt a sick feeling rise up from her gut, almost choking her, then the tears began to flow.
Silver Mamma Chef was in distress, she had to pull herself towards herself or else she's truly going to loose all her marbles.
Silver Mamma Chef continued to make the best of the Mac-Spag dish, adding the tomato puree and mince to the Macaroni and grated cheese on top and popped it into the oven.
Although the cheese was a little over cooked, it didn't taste to bad at all.
After the rough day, Silver Mamma Chef calmed down and accepted the things that went wrong, put them behind her and continued on a more positive note.
I mean...after all, we all have bad days and good days, Silver Mamma Chef's day was just a tad overwhelming. But before it spiraled into doom and gloom, she decided to rise up above the things that pulled her down and took her power back.
Oh!...by the way, the bake beans didn't go to waste. Silver Mamma Chef made bake bean omelet, Well!...scrambled egg and bake beans on homemade toast and avocado for breakfast the next morning.
Silver Mamma Chef put the challenges of the day behind her and is in a better frame of mind.
Yes... Silver Mamma Chef found her lost marbles and put them back in the bag.
Thank you for stopping by and letting her share her story with you.
Until next time, go well and stay safe.
