Life is all about choices...we are what we chose to be.
There are choices that we made that we thought were right for us. Not thinking that after a couple of years or after a decade or two you would look back on that choice that you made and wish that you'd chosen differently.

The thing is, when you feel like life is complete, your parents are there, and you have a good job that gives you money to buy your needs and you still have enough to save, you don't think much of the opportunity that comes to your doorstep. And sometimes just because at that moment, everything is in its right place you don't weigh or you don't care too much about the things or opportunity that comes knocking. You easily say no without even thinking that it could change your life totally from what you already have.
After I graduated from college, I got a work at one of the international postgraduate schools here in the Philippines, and also during that time when I'm earning already that my Dad asked me if I wanted to work in the United States because his cousin are willing to help me to get there and find a job since they are all working in a hospital.
Would you believe, without batting an eyelash, without thinking it twice I just said No right then and there without thinking about what it can do to me. While my friends from college are doing everything that they can just to go to the US, there am I saying no to an opportunity that a lot of people want to have.
Life is really full of choices, and those choices will really make or break you. These choices will determine who you will be in the future. The choice that I chose didn't break me but if at that time I choose wisely my life will be so different from what I have now. I'll definitely be a different person from who I am right now. So never ever decide or choose without giving any thought to what is laid down before you. It might not do you any good at that moment but if you think about it in the long run it may give you more opportunities to change your life for the better.
So if I'll have a chance to travel back in time just for one week, I'll go back to this phase of my life and will choose differently. Yes, I don't want to work in a hospital but everything can be learned. I don't want to study nursing and yet I finished the degree so it just means that I can also learn to love working in a hospital but that is only if we can travel back in time.
and here is my answer to the question on the Blog of the Month by the Silver Bloggers community.
If you had the opportunity to travel back in time - for just one week - to change just one thing in your life...what would it be?
and I really wish we could travel back in time even just for a day not just to change something but to be with the person who doesn't exist now.
And if you've come this far... I hope that I was able to entertain you and made you smile... and for that Thank you.
