I'm just a simple guy who live here in the province wherein the place is so peaceful making you to really embrace it. Our place is surrounded by tall mountains and we're in the middle of vast plains of rice fields.
I loved living here not just because the place is peaceful but also you can experience here the most awaited moment in the morning which is the sunrise. Since I was a kid I was amazed everytime I see one when I wake up early that's why I promised to myself that I will capture a photo of it when I have a cellphone.
So since I had a cellphone now I'm free to take a photo of it no matter when I like or where I like to take.
Just like this one, I took this last January 22 this year at 5:30 in morning. Sunrise never cease to amaze me even if I see it over and over again. The sunrise I saw was a special one since it has a halo in it. I thought that this would never be possible. When I saw this one I thought that sunrise has a lot more to show to me while I'm alive.
This was a special day also for it's my birthday. I turned 21 that day and it's my debut. It seems life greeted me a great morning despite all the obstacles that I experienced and those are ahead of me. This first scene when I woke up made me really happy and in good mood. Why I said that? It's because my day was filled with joy and fun through out the day. Nothing bad happens.
One of the livelihood here in the province is farming and I'm proud to say that we are in lined with this one. My ancestors were farmers upto this new generation, my father. My interest was caught by it when I was still a little kid since my late grandpa brought me with him everytime he goes in the field to feed his carabao with grass.
Everytime we plow and plant the field with rice I go with my father to learn more about it. Just like the photo above wherein I went with him to the field. What you see is that he carefully scatter the partially grown rice at the seed bed. This first step is already hard because you need to balance the quantity though out the bed. In that way the seedlings will have the enough room to grow healthy.
I learned a lot of lesson here and above is one of them. This is the first challenge when you're a rice farmer here in the province. There's one thing that was engraved on my mind at this moment when I went with him. He said to me that, "Embrace farming even if it's hard because this is the one that will feed your family soon." Also he added, "Value every grain of rice because there's a lot out there who's getting hungry."
I think of it very long and now I know what he meant from what I see from our family and the family of my aunts and uncles.
My mother was an OFW(Overseas Filipino Worker) for a long time but now she's working here in our place. The photo above was taken during our hike in one of the tourist spot here in our place goes by the name Bangaan Hills.
We woke up early that day because my mom wants to visit it even if she just come home lol. Well she's adventurous that's why we can't say no. We prepared our things and began our walk going to the spot. The sun was on our side this day and it's not that hot to walk. The spot is really far away from the entrance so it may take a while if you walk too slow.
When we reached the top all the tiredness were swept away by the view. It's very relaxing to see those hills covered in green grass. She can't wait to take some picture so I granted her request even if I'm shy to take one because of the crowd. There's a lot of people out there at the side and at the back of those hills.
Look how happy she was when I took out my phone to take a picture of her. All in all our hike was successful and it's really worth it.
That's my father and mother by the way and I'm very proud of them for raising me. Anyway this is my first time to join the prompt here on this community and this one save me for today's blog.
A reminder, no matter what happens enjoy life because it has so much to offer.
