To Do Or Not To Do
I have never been one for making resolutions at the beginning of a New Year, knowing most are broken before the end of the first week. No resolutions, next best is simply divert life's action plan, small bite size pieces to process!
Looking back to move forward, everyone is worn down/tired in different ways, one feels like The Three Stooges tripping each other up! Breach of trust nullified, positions of power overstepped mark with lies, leaving me more resolute in fact checking.
Never rebel, listen to both sides of a story, wherever able. Not only for ones own sanity, for the future generations.
Here in Africa we were brought up in Ubuntu, taking care of those less fortunate than oneself, no stings attached it becomes a way of life.
Much of this is very deeply embedded into our way of life, has this lost it's meaning over time? We are all bound together in ways we do not fully understand, Ubuntu means Humanity to which we all belong.
"Ubuntu is a capacity in South African culture that expresses compassion, reciprocity, dignity, harmony and humanity in the interests of building and maintaining a community with justice and mutual caring." Source
"New World Order" polarize our think tank leaders, this is being witnessed not only in South Africa but around the world. Political leaders give no thought to the divide happening, democracy is not the same from one region to another, societal situations there is no one fix for all, we are different.
High end earners make them feel exclusively secure from disaster, very busy planning the next 'pandemic' or war, while the polarization rips throughout society, poisoning everyday interactions and relationships among the people.
Take into consideration, People would not flee a country when they are happy, look around the world we see many displaced through wars or natural events.
Resolution, or being resolute in taking action, this is the quandary we find ourselves in, most think it is too big to intervene. Keep working within communities, with a wish for a better future; or actually stand up against warped infiltration of thinking that is creating greater confusion within our world today?
My resolution is to be in harmony with nature, share the positive side of life always, while fighting these monsters that have appeared in our midst slowly over the years feigning the betterment for the people!
Other unworldly things I need to do is sort out the house, rid excess many need or would enjoy that are now memories of the past, arrange my personal affairs as best as I am able, no one is promised tomorrow complete small tasks every day.
Thought for Today: "Good resolutions are like babies crying in church, they should be carried out immediately. " - African Proverb
