And I had to take the right side
This unfortunate accident happened just in front of our house, in which two bikes collided. We have a CCTV camera pointing to the road, and it was captured live on the CCTV. The first person who ran into rescue was the one who was working on the front shop, doing some paint work. And then slowly people coming from both ways in this busy road gathered, called the ambulance, informed their family members. It was good that, their family members arrived very quickly and then they took both of them to hospital, each having minor injuries, with one of them with a bone fracture. So we thought, it was all over.
But then after a day, one of the party came to our house and requested to show them the CCTV footage, because the other party was trying to extract money from them for everything : their treatment cost, bike repair, a new mobile and then cash, putting all the fault on them. They even complained to the police, but then police advised to settle first. In the CCTV footage, the person coming from the right side was the one whose family members were putting blame on the other party. So they wanted some evidence to show to the police and make it a case, as it was too much.
So after hearing all these, I decided to extract the footage and watch it myself. Interestingly, there has been some muddy water put on the road, by some other trucks may be. And watching the CCTV footage closely, it appeared the person coming from right first fell down on the road because of which, the person coming from the left side hit him. It was none of his fault, but he still suffered injuries and loss, but the other person was putting everything on him. More ever, I heard, the person coming from the right has a bad background with some addictions as well. It was even possible he was high on some addiction and that was the reason, he fell down first.
Finally I decided to support the right people and gave them this footage, which they presented to the police and now the police has made it a case. So whatever will be given to the parties will be from the insurance companies, which is the right thing.
Life sometimes puts us in situations, where we have to stand firm and support the right thing. This was one such incidence, and I am sure, when we are on trouble, God will send some good people for us as well.
