Dancing to the Tribal Tunes

It was so much fun - watch the video till end.

This was our second and final night at Eco Retreat, Daringbadi and after coming from the Patabanda Waterfall, we were excited to join the tribal performance in the evening, so headed straight to the rooms to get ready, as the high tea was already over.

The view of the tents at the evening, they got enough lighting at all the places.

The stage was set, but we had to wait a little for the performance as those artists were yet to come.

The format was almost same as the previous night, on which I posted here, these are some trained artists who perform on a regular basis in the Winter season, as the area is flooded with tourists. However, after Winter, they get back to their regular tribal life, and the amount earned in Winter is a big boost to their economy.

There were very less audience, probably because of people getting tired on the second day, but we had full enthusiasm to enjoy everything and not miss any moment. After all, if you have paid for something, then you should enjoy it to the fullest, as you can take enough rest after coming home.

She was happy to experience their traditional crown and discuss about their life, couple of them are in their 12th standard.

And I was enjoying the tribal company to the fullest, living a minimalist life and so happy. They don't want to come to the cities to earn more, and are quite happy with what they have - eating all the organic food that they themselves prepare.

And now let me present you the most beautiful moment of this trip : we both dancing to the tribal tunes and then finally it was so much fun to dance alone with them - this will be a memory for the life time. Since the stage was full, we decided to utilize the ground area, life is full of opportunities, it's just that you have to discover the possibilities and enjoy these moments to the fullest and capture them to recharge yourself later. These are some pure gold moments that is so much fun to watch, now I wonder how could I dance like this !!!

Afterwards, we finished our last dinner there, and headed back to the tent.

The guard on duty in the night, to attend to any help needed, managing in this little room where he can barely sit comfortably, but he is happy to dedicate his service for people and considers this as a big opportunity to earn a living.

The horns were awesome. and the guard shack is very good! 👊😉✌️

I imagine that it was the most fun part of tosa to be able to enjoy a new experience with that typical dance, also how do you say if you have already paid for it, the best thing is to go to live and make the most of the opportunities. Greetings and I imagine you want to come back

Your update plus the tribal dance was excellent friend and that's what it's about enjoying every moment to the fullest, and each new experience makes us grow and appreciate other people for their efforts, what they give us with their show.

Seeing you enjoying and dancing was awesome. Your 'solo' dance with the performers on stage was really cool. I have stage fright so I don't think I can do something like that. This seems like an unforgettable experience, and I'm happy you got to enjoy it.

This is not the first post where you demonstrate your impressive dancing skills so I already know that you have them but still, wow! Very cool moves! :)

@tipu curate 7

your impressive dancing skills

😜I am thinking to join a dance class.

As a participant or as the dance instructor? :)

Sir, I thoroughly enjoyed your dancing. One thing I can say it's not about how good or skillful you are as a dancer, rather it's more about how confidently you enjoy dancing on a public stage. I appreciate your confidence, sir. And that is more important.

I am sure you must have heard about Sambalpuri music and dance, it is so hypnotizing that it will make introvert dance like never before. I wanna see you dancing to the tune of Sambalpuri music one day.

Odisha is the third largest in terms of Scheduled tribes population. It's good that ecotourism is integrating them with the modern economy. The cosmopolitan culture must offer a continuum to the tribal culture in a way that economically can be upgraded while preserving the tribal life and cultures. Eco retreat is one of them.

As always rich photographic content.

Thank you so much.

I wanna see you dancing to the tune of Sambalpuri music one day.

We always do, Sambalpuri is everyone's favorite. Rangabati cannot be missed any any event.

Sure, Sir.
