Good day ,
Last week I orderd some new toys to play with for my camera's the Miops Smart and the Miops splash , this week I orderd an extra flash light and a small camera / flash mount .
This morning i decided to take the new flash for test spin outside , although the manufactorer clearly says not usable for macro i decided to test it anyway 🤣.

So although the manufactorer says it's not for macro i think it depends on the type of macro shots you are planing :)
After all you can always use it as / with a remote trigger.
So the Tulip shots with raindrops are shot with my Sony A7II + Sigma105mm DG macro + Godox V1s flashlight as shown in the picture below.
Even the cat didn't care to much about the new flash light , and yes this is on camera mounted and no red eyes .

The small camera / flash mount easy to use if you need an extra hand to hold your 2nd flash light ,
The flash came with an extra kit of tools to manipulate the light coming out of the flash.

Yesterday i started to test the Miops Splash
the setup looks like this :
After a couple of hours of failures i finally managed to capture some waterdrops in motion , i will be experimenting with that a lot more in the future.
Last week i used the miops smart to make a timelapse that you can find on my other account
The weather forecast predicts thunder storms tonight so i hope i get the chance to test that out with the Miops smart today.
