The sixth weekend of 2025 is here and with it the fifth weekly report of my Saturday Savers Club participation for 2025.
I am publishing this in our Silver Bloggers community as we do have an interest in crypto and passive income streams for our retirement!

There is something majestical about viaducts, this one is only a ten minute walk from house, and it was such a beautiful day, I took a wee detour on the way back from the supermarket.
This year is all about Just Doing It for me... so I am doing a couple of crafty arty classes!

I shall be Using the Penny a Day Savings Challenge
Primary Goal 1 = 667.95 HBD
Remember I said Passive Income?
Well saving HBD our stablecoin Hive Backed Dollars earns 15%APR interest... that is some fluffing good passive income!
Now then I did say I was doing my version of the penny savings challenge.
Previous years showed me the way to hit your HBD saving goal was to save hard at the beginning!
Ed's Special version makes use of the make hay while the sun shines philosophy...
As you can see from my account screenshot I really am flying along with 111.398 HBD in my savings pot ...
As you can see from the table I am at 16.68% complete. The target completion based on a pure date driven scale is 10.41%.
HBD and Primary goal ahead of schedule!
Secondary Goal 2 = 0.01095996 BTC
Whether or not I meet this target will depend on the price of Bitcoin.
I decided to buy 3 USDT worth of Bitcoin each and every day...
I have an auto-invest order on Binance...
The amount of Bitcoin I have now is ... 0.00108751 and we have hit 100k Sats
Which is 0.00021411 more than last week!
At 9.92% we are slightly below the projected target value of 10.41%. This due to the fact that BTC has been trading higher and not getting as much of it for our $3 as at the beginning when the goal was made!
Although last week with the dip in BTC price we picked up more sats than we have been previously.
It is fun to collect things .... Now it is $HBD and $BTC..
There we have it, it should be an interesting year!
My SSC goals for 2025 with progress to date are :
Goal 1 = 667.95 HBD, To Date 111.398 HBD, 16.68% progress.
Goal 2 = 0.01095996 BTC, To Date 0.00108751, 9.92% progress
Week 6 Goals and N2Hs
There are 52 weeks of course in a year, so I do have plenty of time to decide how my numbers and reports will look, However for the meantime I quite like this.
Verdict for Week 6
☑️Fluffing awesome progress
It was a 8.5/10 week. With steady progress being made, only BTC and EDSI are behind schedule, but not much.
Only thing to improve is to aim for one post per day this week!
