Feathered Friends - SMaP Contest Round 188 - Ducks (4 pics)

in #hive-106444last month

Greetings friends.
Hi, @nelinoeva.

This week's theme (ROUND 188)
SHOW ME A PICTURE OF BIRD AND WATER.

Well, I was unlucky yesterday. I was driving from home to the office in the morning and driving along the lake I saw white swans on it. In summer, the lake is not visible from the road, because the trees interfere, but now the foliage from the trees has completely disappeared and the lake is clearly visible. It's a shame that the lake was not in the direction of traffic and therefore I couldn't park at the shore to take a picture. Of course, I could have turned around at the intersection, but my camera is currently under repair, so I drove on to the office sad.
Why don't they call me from the workshop? They promised to diagnose the camera and call me within 5 days, but it's already been 7 days. I'll call there myself tomorrow.

Why did I decide to show this photo? I liked the beak of this duck. It's not a special kind of long-billed duck or mutation, it's just an interesting angle. It often happens that interesting photos of birds and animals are obtained unexpectedly, by accident. Animals, especially wild ones, do not like to pose, they try to stay away from the photographer. It is desirable to have optics with a good approximation and the possibility of high-speed shooting. It usually costs a lot of money and I don't have the opportunity to buy a good camera.

These are domestic ducks. I met them on my trip to the Moscow region. What attracted me to them? I liked their plumage. I have never seen ducks with such a plumage color before. I usually met domestic ducks of a simple white color. These ducks must be some kind of special breed.

This guy still has geese! Here they are of the usual home color - white.
In my childhood, there were a lot of ducks and geese walking along the streets in my village. These birds are no longer visible on the streets. Life in the Russian countryside has changed, people have stopped keeping pets for food. And it was a big surprise for me to meet these ducks and geese. I also wanted to raise poultry, but my wife is afraid of them. Maybe that's a good thing? I have more time for other activities, pets tie us to the house.

The entry photo is outstanding. It is true animals do not pose, we have to rely a lot on our luck too.
